⁶ Then he called Salomon his sonne, and charged him to builde an house for the Lord God of Israel.

¹⁸ And the Lord said vnto Moses, Take thee Ioshua the sonne of Nun, in whom is the Spirite, and put thine handes vpon him, ¹⁹ And set him before Eleazar the Priest, and before all the Congregation, and giue him a charge in their sight.

²³ Then he put his handes vpon him, and gaue him a charge, as the Lord had spoken by the hand of Moses.

¹⁴ Then the Lord saide vnto Moses, Beholde, thy dayes are come, that thou must die: Call Ioshua, and stande ye in the Tabernacle of the Congregation that I may giue him a charge. So Moses and Ioshua went, and stoode in the Tabernacle of the Congregation.

²³ And God gaue Ioshua the sonne of Nun a charge, and said, Be strong, and of a good courage: for thou shalt bring the children of Israel into the lande, which I sware vnto them, and I will be with thee.

¹⁸ And Iesus came, and spake vnto them, saying, All power is giuen vnto me, in heauen, and in earth. ¹⁹ Go therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and the Sonne, and the holy Ghost, ²⁰ Teaching them to obserue all things, whatsoeuer I haue commanded you: and lo, I am with you alway, vntill the ende of the worlde, Amen.

² Vntill the day that hee was taken vp, after that hee through the holy Ghost, had giuen commandements vnto the Apostles, whome hee had chosen:

²⁵ And now behold, I know that henceforth ye all, through whome I haue gone preaching the kingdome of God, shall see my face no more. ²⁶ Wherefore I take you to recorde this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men. ²⁷ For I haue kept nothing backe, but haue shewed you all the counsell of God. ²⁸ Take heede therefore vnto your selues, and to all the flocke, whereof the holy Ghost hath made you Ouerseers, to feede the Church of God, which hee hath purchased with that his owne blood. ²⁹ For I knowe this, that after my departing shall grieuous wolues enter in among you, not sparing the flocke. ³⁰ Moreouer of your owne selues shall men arise speaking peruerse thinges, to drawe disciples after them. ³¹ Therefore watche, and remember, that by the space of three yeres I ceased not to warne euery one, both night and day with teares.

²¹ I charge thee before God and the Lord Iesus Christ, and the elect Angels, that thou obserue these thinges without preferring one to an other, and doe nothing partially.

¹³ I charge thee in the sight of God, who quickeneth all thinges, and before Iesus Christ, which vnder Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession, ¹⁴ That thou keepe this commandement without spot, and vnrebukeable, vntill the appearing of our Lord Iesus Christ, ¹⁵ Which in due time hee shall shewe, that is blessed and Prince onely, the King of Kings and Lord of Lordes, ¹⁶ Who onely hath immortalitie, and dwelleth in the light that none can attaine vnto, whom neuer man sawe, neither can see, vnto whome bee honour and power euerlasting, Amen. ¹⁷ Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not high minded, and that they trust not in vncertaine riches, but in the liuing God, (which giueth vs aboundantly, all things to enioy)

¹ I charge thee therefore before God, and before the Lord Iesus Christ, which shall iudge the quicke and dead at that his appearing, and in his kingdome,
