²⁴ Only, the daughter of Paroh ascends from the city of David to the house he built for her: then he builds Millo.

⁹ So David settles in the stronghold, and calls it the city of David; and David builds the house all around from Millo:

And Shelomoh intermarries with Paroh sovereign of Misrayim; and takes the daughter of Paroh and brings her into the city of David until he finishes building his own house and the house of Yah Veh and the wall of Yeru Shalem all around:

⁸ And his house where he settles has another court to house the porch - of like work. And Shelomoh works a house like this porch for the daughter of Paroh he had taken.

¹⁵ and this is the word of the vassal sovereign Shelomoh lifts to build the house of Yah Veh and his own house and Millo and the wall of Yeru Shalem and Hasor and Megiddo and Gezer. ¹⁶ Paroh sovereign of Misrayim ascends and captures Gezer and burns it with fire; and slaughters the Kenaaniy who settle the city and gives it for dowries to his daughter, the woman of Shelomoh.

²⁷ and this is the word that he lifts a hand against the sovereign: Shelomoh built Millo and shut the breaches of the city of David his father:

¹¹ And Shelomoh ascends the daughter of Paroh from the city of David to the house he built for her: for he says, My woman settles not in the house of David sovereign of Yisra El because of the holies where the ark of Yah Veh has come.

⁵ And he strengthens himself and builds all the broken wall so that it ascends to the towers; and another outer wall; and strengthens Millo the city of David: and works spears and bucklers in abundance.
