¹ And when the eighth day was come, Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the ancients of Israel, and said to Aaron:

³³ And you shall not go out of the door of the tabernacle for seven days, until the day wherein the time of your consecration shall be expired. For in seven days the consecration is finished:

¹⁰ On the eighth day, he shall take two lambs without blemish, and an ewe of a year old without blemish, and three tenths of flour tempered with oil for a sacrifice, and a sextary of oil apart.

²³ And he shall offer them on the eighth day of his purification to the priest, at the door of the tabernacle of the testimony before the Lord.

¹⁴ And on the eighth day he shall take two turtles, or two young pigeons, and he shall come before the Lord, to the door of the tabernacle of the testimony, and shall give them to the priest.

²⁹ And on the eighth day she shall offer for herself to the priest, two turtles, or two young pigeons, at the door of the tabernacle of the testimony:

¹⁰ And on the eighth day he shall bring two turtles, or two young pigeons to the priest in the entry of the covenant of the testimony.

²⁶ Seven days shall they expiate the altar, and shall cleanse it: and they shall consecrate it. ²⁷ And the days being expired, on the eighth day and thenceforward, the priests shall offer your holocausts upon the altar, and the peace offerings: and I will be pacified towards you, saith the Lord God.
