²⁶ For then he ought to have suffered often from the beginning of the world. But now once, at the end of ages, he hath appeared for the destruction of sin by the sacrifice of himself.

²¹ And putting both hands upon his head, let him confess all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their offences and sins. And praying that they may light on its head, he shall turn him out by a man ready for it, into the desert. ²² And when the goat hath carried all their iniquities into an uninhabited land, and shall be let go into the desert:

¹³ And David said to Nathan: I have sinned against the Lord. And Nathan said to David: The Lord also hath taken away thy sin: thou shalt not die.

¹⁰ But David's heart struck him, after the people were numbered: and David said to the Lord: I have sinned very much in what I have done: but I pray thee, O Lord, to take away the iniquity of thy servant, because I have done exceeding foolishly.

²¹ Why dost thou not remove my sin, and why dost thou not take away my iniquity? Behold now I shall sleep in the dust: and if thou seek me in the morning, I shall not be.

² And in the last days the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be prepared on the top of mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills, and all nations shall flow unto it.

²⁴ Seventy weeks are shortened upon thy people, and upon thy holy city, that transgression may be finished, and sin may have an end, and iniquity may be abolished; and everlasting justice may be brought; and vision and prophecy may be fulfilled; and the Saint of saints may be anointed.

¹⁴ But I am come to teach thee what things shall befall thy people in the latter days, for as yet the vision is for days.

¹ And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be prepared in the top of the mountains, and high above the hills: and people shall flow to it.

³⁴ Then shall the king say to them that shall be on his right hand: Come, ye blessed of my Father, possess you the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

²⁹ The next day, John saw Jesus coming to him; and he saith: Behold the Lamb of God. Behold him who taketh away the sin of the world.

²⁴ Father, I will that where I am, they also whom thou hast given me may be with me: that they may see my glory which thou hast given me, because thou hast loved me before the creation of the world.

¹¹ Now all these things happened to them in figure: and they are written for our correction, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

¹ As long as the heir is a child, he differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all,

¹⁰ In the dispensation of the fulness of times, to re-establish all things in Christ, that are in heaven and on earth, in him.

² And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us and hath delivered himself for us, an oblation and a sacrifice to God for an odour of sweetness.

¹⁴ Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity and might cleanse to himself a people acceptable, a pursuer of good works.

² In these days, hath spoken to us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the world.

³ For we, who have believed, shall enter into rest; as he said: As I have sworn in my wrath: If they shall enter into my rest; and this indeed when the works from the foundation of the world were finished.

²⁷ Who needeth not daily (as the other priests) to offer sacrifices, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, in offering himself.

¹² Neither by the blood of goats or of calves, but by his own blood, entered once into the Holies, having obtained eternal redemption.

¹⁴ How much more shall the blood of Christ, who by the Holy Ghost offered himself unspotted unto God, cleanse our conscience from dead works, to serve the living God?

⁴ For it is impossible that with the blood of oxen and goats sin should be taken away.

¹⁰ In the which will, we are sanctified by the oblation of the body of Jesus Christ once.

¹² But this man, offering one sacrifice for sins, for ever sitteth on the right hand of God,

²⁶ For if we sin wilfully after having the knowledge of the truth, there is now left no sacrifice for sins:

²⁰ Foreknown indeed before the foundation of the world, but manifested in the last times for you:

²⁴ Who his own self bore our sins in his body upon the tree: that we, being dead to sins, should live to justice: by whose stripes you were healed.

¹⁸ Because Christ also died once for our sins, the just for the unjust: that he might offer us to God, being put to death indeed in the flesh, but enlivened in the spirit,

⁵ And you know that he appeared to take away our sins: and in him there is no sin.

⁸ And all that dwell upon the earth adored him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb which was slain from the beginning of the world.

⁸ The beast which thou sawest, was, and is not, and shall come up out of the bottomless pit and go into destruction. And the inhabitants on the earth (whose names are not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world) shall wonder, seeing the beast that was and is not.
