¹⁵ But the author of life you killed, whom God hath raised from the dead: of which we are witnesses.

² And behold there was a great earthquake. For an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and coming rolled back the stone and sat upon it. ³ And his countenance was as lightning and his raiment as snow. ⁴ And for fear of him, the guards were struck with terror and became as dead men. ⁵ And the angel answering, said to the women: Fear not you: for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified.

⁴ In him was life: and the life was the light of men.

¹⁰ Jesus answered and said to her: If thou didst know the gift of God and who he is that saith to thee: Give me to drink; thou perhaps wouldst have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

¹⁴ But the water that I will give him shall become in him a fountain of water, springing up into life everlasting.

²⁶ For as the Father hath life in himself, so he hath given to the Son also to have life in himself.

²⁸ And I give them life everlasting: and they shall not perish for ever. And no man shall pluck them out of my hand.

²⁵ Jesus said to her: I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me, although he be dead, shall live: ²⁶ And every one that liveth and believeth in me shall not die for ever. Believest thou this?

⁶ Jesus saith to him: I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No man cometh to the Father, but by me.

² As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he may give eternal life to all whom thou hast given him.

²² Beginning from the baptism of John, until the day wherein he was taken up from us, one of these must be made a witness with us of his resurrection.

²⁴ Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the sorrows of hell, as it was impossible that he should be holden by it.

³² This Jesus hath God raised again, whereof all we are witnesses.

³¹ Him hath God exalted with his right hand, to be Prince and Saviour. to give repentance to Israel and remission of sins.

⁴⁰ Him God raised up the third day and gave him to be made manifest, ⁴¹ Not to all the people, but to witnesses preordained by God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him, after he arose again from the dead.

³⁰ But God raised him up from the dead the third day. ³¹ Who was seen for many days by them who came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who to this present are his witnesses to the people. ³² And we declare unto you that the promise which was made to our fathers,

¹ There is now therefore no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh. ² For the law of the spirit of life, in Christ Jesus, hath delivered me from the law of sin and of death.

⁴⁵ The first man Adam was made into a living soul; the last Adam into a quickening spirit.

²⁰ Which he wrought in Christ, raising him up from the dead and setting him on his right hand in the heavenly places.

³ For you are dead: and your life is hid with Christ in God. ⁴ When Christ shall appear, who is your life, then you also shall appear with him in glory.

¹⁰ For it became him for whom are all things and by whom are all things, who had brought many children into glory, to perfect the author of their salvation, by his passion.

⁹ And being consummated, he became, to all that obey him, the cause of eternal salvation:

¹¹ And this is the testimony that God hath given to us eternal life. And this life is in his Son. ¹² He that hath the Son hath life. He that hath not the Son hath not life.

²⁰ And we know that the Son of God is come. And he hath given us understanding that we may know the true God and may be in his true Son. This is the true God and life eternal.

⁶ And he said to me: It is done. I am Alpha and Omega: the Beginning and the End. To him that thirsteth, I will give of the fountain of the water of life, freely.

¹ And he shewed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.

¹⁷ And the spirit and the bride say: Come. And he that heareth, let him say: Come. And he that thirsteth, let him come. And he that will, let him take the water of life, freely.
