¹ Paul, bondman of God, and apostle of Jesus Christ according to [the] faith of God`s elect, and knowledge of [the] truth which [is] according to piety;

⁴⁹ And Aaron and his sons offered upon the altar of the burnt-offering, and on the altar of incense, for all the work of the most holy place, and to make atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.

²⁶ but ye do not believe, for ye are not of my sheep, as I told you. ²⁷ My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me;

⁴⁸ And [those of] the nations, hearing it, rejoiced, and glorified the word of the Lord, and believed, as many as were ordained to eternal life.

¹ Paul, bondman of Jesus Christ, [a] called apostle, separated to God`s glad tidings,

¹ Paul, apostle of Jesus Christ by God`s will, and the brother Timotheus, to the assembly of God which is in Corinth, with all the saints who are in the whole of Achaia.

⁸ For ye are saved by grace, through faith; and this not of yourselves; it is God`s gift:

¹ Paul and Timotheus, bondmen of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus who are in Philippi, with [the] overseers and ministers;

² to the end that their hearts may be encouraged, being united together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to [the] full knowledge of the mystery of God;

¹³ But we ought to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved of [the] Lord, that God has chosen you from [the] beginning to salvation in sanctification of [the] Spirit and belief of [the] truth: ¹⁴ whereto he has called you by our glad tidings, to [the] obtaining of [the] glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

⁴ nor to turn their minds to fables and interminable genealogies, which bring questionings rather than [further] God`s dispensation, which [is] in faith. ⁵ But the end of what is enjoined is love out of a pure heart and a good conscience and unfeigned faith;

⁴ who desires that all men should be saved and come to [the] knowledge of [the] truth.

¹⁶ And confessedly the mystery of piety is great. God has been manifested in flesh, has been justified in [the] Spirit, has appeared to angels, has been preached among [the] nations, has been believed on in [the] world, has been received up in glory.

³ If any one teach differently, and do not accede to sound words, those of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the teaching which [is] according to piety,

²³ But foolish and senseless questionings avoid, knowing that they beget contentions.

²⁵ in meekness setting right those who oppose, if God perhaps may sometime give them repentance to acknowledgment of [the] truth,

¹¹ For the grace of God which carries with it salvation for all men has appeared, ¹² teaching us that, having denied impiety and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, and justly, and piously in the present course of things,

³ As his divine power has given to us all things which relate to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that has called us by glory and virtue,

¹¹ All these things then being to be dissolved, what ought ye to be in holy conversation and godliness,

²³ Whoever denies the Son has not the Father either; he who confesses the Son has the Father also.
