² Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman conceive seed, and bear a male, then she shall be unclean seven days; as in the days of the separation of her infirmity shall she be unclean.

²⁸ And God blessed them; and God said to them, Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the heavens, and over every animal that moveth on the earth.

¹⁶ To the woman he said, I will greatly increase thy travail and thy pregnancy; with pain thou shalt bear children; and to thy husband shall be thy desire, and he shall rule over thee.

¹⁹ And if a woman have a flux, and her flux in her flesh be blood, she shall be seven days in her separation, and whoever toucheth her shall be unclean until the even.

¹⁹ And thou shalt not approach a woman in the separation of her uncleanness to uncover her nakedness.

⁴ Who can bring a clean [man] out of the unclean? Not one!

¹⁴ What is man, that he should be pure? and he that is born of a woman, that he should be righteous?

⁴ And how should man be just with ?God? Or how should he be clean that is born of a woman?

⁵ Behold, in iniquity was I brought forth, and in sin did my mother conceive me.

²² And when the days were fulfilled for their purifying according to the law of Moses, they brought him to Jerusalem to present [him] to the Lord

¹² For this [cause], even as by one man sin entered into the world, and by sin death; and thus death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: ¹³ (for until law sin was in [the] world; but sin is not put to account when there is no law; ¹⁴ but death reigned from Adam until Moses, even upon those who had not sinned in the likeness of Adam`s transgression, who is [the] figure of him to come. ¹⁵ But [shall] not the act of favour [be] as the offence? For if by the offence of one the many have died, much rather has the grace of God, and the free gift in grace, which [is] by the one man Jesus Christ, abounded unto the many. ¹⁶ And [shall] not as by one that has sinned [be] the gift? For the judgment [was] of one to condemnation, but the act of favour, of many offences unto justification. ¹⁷ For if by the offence of the one death reigned by the one, much rather shall those who receive the abundance of grace, and of the free gift of righteousness, reign in life by the one Jesus Christ:) ¹⁸ so then as [it was] by one offence towards all men to condemnation, so by one righteousness towards all men for justification of life. ¹⁹ For as indeed by the disobedience of the one man the many have been constituted sinners, so also by the obedience of the one the many will be constituted righteous.
