³ I hear a reproof putting me to shame; and [my] spirit answereth me by mine understanding.

³ These ten times have ye reproached me; ye are not ashamed to stupefy me.

²⁹ Be ye yourselves afraid of the sword! for the sword is fury against misdeeds, that ye may know there is a judgment.

² Therefore do my thoughts give me an answer, and for this is my haste within me.

¹¹ I will teach you concerning the hand of ?God; what is with the Almighty will I not conceal.

³ My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart, and my lips shall utter knowledge purely.

³ My mouth shall speak wisdom, and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding:

² I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter riddles from of old, ³ Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us: ⁴ We will not hide [them] from their sons, shewing forth to the generation to come the praises of Jehovah, and his strength, and his marvellous works which he hath done. ⁵ For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children;
