¹⁵ And Sarah denied, saying, I did not laugh; for she was afraid. And he said, No; but thou didst laugh.

⁹ And Jehovah said to Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: am I my brother`s keeper?

¹³ Say, I pray thee, thou art my sister, that it may be well with me on thy account, and my soul may live because of thee.

¹⁰ But he said to her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. We have also received good from God, and should we not receive evil? In all this Job did not sin with his lips.

²¹ Would not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart.

¹⁹ The lip of truth shall be established for ever; but a lying tongue is but for a moment.

¹⁹ Now we know that whatever the things the law says, it speaks to those under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world be under judgment to God.

²³ and being renewed in the spirit of your mind;

⁹ Do not lie to one another, having put off the old man with his deeds,

⁸ If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
