²⁰ I am crucified with Christ, and no longer live, *I*, but Christ lives in me; but [in] that I now live in flesh, I live by faith, the [faith] of the Son of God, who has loved me and given himself for me.

³ And the tempter coming up to him said, If thou be Son of God, speak, that these stones may become loaves of bread.

²⁸ as indeed the Son of man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.

⁴⁹ Nathanael answered and said to him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God, thou art the King of Israel.

¹⁶ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only-begotten Son, that whosoever believes on him may not perish, but have life eternal.

³⁵ The Father loves the Son, and has given all things [to be] in his hand.

⁵⁷ As the living Father has sent me and I live on account of the Father, *he* also who eats me shall live also on account of me.

⁶⁹ and we have believed and known that thou art the holy one of God.

³⁵ Jesus heard that they had cast him out, and having found him, he said to him, Thou, dost thou believe on the Son of God? ³⁶ He answered and said, And who is he, Lord, that I may believe on him? ³⁷ And Jesus said to him, Thou hast both seen him, and he that speaks with thee is he. ³⁸ And he said, I believe, Lord: and he did him homage.

¹¹ I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep:

¹⁹ Yet a little and the world sees me no longer; but ye see me; because I live ye also shall live. ²⁰ In that day ye shall know that I [am] in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

¹³ No one has greater love than this, that one should lay down his life for his friends.

²¹ that they may be all one, as thou, Father, [art] in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us, that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

³⁶ And as they went along the way, they came upon a certain water, and the eunuch says, Behold water; what hinders my being baptised?

²⁰ And straightway in the synagogues he preached Jesus that *he* is the Son of God.

¹⁷ for righteousness of God is revealed therein, on the principle of faith, to faith: according as it is written, But the just shall live by faith.

² by whom we have also access by faith into this favour in which we stand, and we boast in hope of the glory of God.

⁴ We have been buried therefore with him by baptism unto death, in order that, even as Christ has been raised up from among [the] dead by the glory of the Father, so *we* also should walk in newness of life. ⁵ For if we are become identified with [him] in the likeness of his death, so also we shall be of [his] resurrection; ⁶ knowing this, that our old man has been crucified with [him], that the body of sin might be annulled, that we should no longer serve sin.

⁸ Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him,

¹³ Neither yield your members instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but yield yourselves to God as alive from among [the] dead, and your members instruments of righteousness to God.

² For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and of death. ³ For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, having sent his own Son, in likeness of flesh of sin, and for sin, has condemned sin in the flesh, ⁴ in order that the righteous requirement of the law should be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to flesh but according to Spirit.

³⁷ But in all these things we more than conquer through him that has loved us.

²⁴ Not that we rule over your faith, but are fellow-workmen of your joy: for by faith ye stand.

¹⁰ always bearing about in the body the dying of Jesus, that the life also of Jesus may be manifested in our body; ¹¹ for we who live are always delivered unto death on account of Jesus, that the life also of Jesus may be manifested in our mortal flesh;

⁷ (for we walk by faith, not by sight;)

¹⁵ and he died for all, that they who live should no longer live to themselves, but to him who died for them and has been raised.

³ For walking in flesh, we do not war according to flesh.

³ Since ye seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, (who is not weak towards you, but is powerful among you,

⁵ examine your own selves if ye be in the faith; prove your own selves: do ye not recognise yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you, unless indeed ye be reprobates?

⁴ who gave himself for our sins, so that he should deliver us out of the present evil world, according to the will of our God and Father;

¹⁶ but knowing that a man is not justified on the principle of works of law [nor] but by the faith of Jesus Christ, *we* also have believed on Christ Jesus, that we might be justified on the principle of [the] faith of Christ; and not of works of law; because on the principle of works of law no flesh shall be justified.

¹¹ but that by law no one is justified with God [is] evident, because The just shall live on the principle of faith;

²⁴ But they that [are] of the Christ have crucified the flesh with the passions and the lusts.

¹⁴ But far be it from me to boast save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom [the] world is crucified to me, and I to the world.

⁴ but God, being rich in mercy, because of his great love wherewith he loved us, ⁵ (we too being dead in offences,) has quickened us with the Christ, (ye are saved by grace,)

¹⁷ that the Christ may dwell, through faith, in your hearts, being rooted and founded in love,

² and walk in love, even as the Christ loved us, and delivered himself up for us, an offering and sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling savour.

²⁵ Husbands, love your own wives, even as the Christ also loved the assembly, and has delivered himself up for it,

¹³ I have strength for all things in him that gives me power.

²⁷ to whom God would make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the nations, which is Christ in you the hope of glory:

¹¹ in whom also ye have been circumcised with circumcision not done by hand, in the putting off of the body of the flesh, in the circumcision of the Christ; ¹² buried with him in baptism, in which ye have been also raised with [him] through faith of the working of God who raised him from among the dead. ¹³ And you, being dead in offences and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, he has quickened together with him, having forgiven us all the offences; ¹⁴ having effaced the handwriting in ordinances which [stood out] against us, which was contrary to us, he has taken it also out of the way, having nailed it to the cross;

³ for ye have died, and your life is hid with the Christ in God. ⁴ When the Christ is manifested who [is] our life, then shall *ye* also be manifested with him in glory.

¹⁰ and to await his Son from the heavens, whom he raised from among the dead, Jesus, our deliverer from the coming wrath.

¹⁰ who has died for us, that whether we may be watching or sleep, we may live together with him.

¹⁴ who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all lawlessness, and purify to himself a peculiar people, zealous for good works.

⁸ whom, having not seen, ye love; on whom [though] not now looking, but believing, ye exult with joy unspeakable and filled with [the] glory,

¹ Christ, then, having suffered for us in [the] flesh, do *ye* also arm yourselves with the same mind; for he that has suffered in [the] flesh has done with sin, ² no longer to live the rest of [his] time in [the] flesh to men`s lusts, but to God`s will.

⁷ But if we walk in the light as *he* is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin.

⁹ Herein as to us has been manifested the love of God, that God has sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. ¹⁰ Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son a propitiation for our sins.

¹⁴ And *we* have seen, and testify, that the Father has sent the Son [as] Saviour of the world.

¹⁰ He that believes on the Son of God has the witness in himself; he that does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the witness which God has witnessed concerning his Son. ¹¹ And this is the witness, that God has given to us eternal life; and this life is in his Son. ¹² He that has the Son has life: he that has not the Son of God has not life. ¹³ These things have I written to you that ye may know that ye have eternal life who believe on the name of the Son of God.

²⁰ And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us an understanding that we should know him that [is] true; and we are in him that [is] true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.

⁵ and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us, and has washed us from our sins in his blood,

²⁰ Behold, I stand at the door and am knocking; if any one hear my voice and open the door, I will come in unto him and sup with him, and he with me.
