¹⁷ that the Christ may dwell, through faith, in your hearts, being rooted and founded in love,

¹⁵ For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, and whose name is Holy: I dwell in the high and holy [place], and with him that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

²⁴ Whoever therefore hears these my words and does them, I will liken him to a prudent man, who built his house upon the rock; ²⁵ and the rain came down, and the streams came, and the winds blew and fell upon that house, and it did not fall, for it had been founded upon the rock.

⁶ but when the sun rose they were burned up, and because of not having [any] root were dried up;

⁴⁸ He is like a man building a house, who dug and went deep, and laid a foundation on the rock; but a great rain coming, the stream broke upon that house, and could not shake it, for it had been founded on the rock.

⁵⁶ He that eats my flesh and drinks my blood dwells in me and I in him.

¹⁷ the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see him nor know him; but ye know him, for he abides with you, and shall be in you.

²³ Jesus answered and said to him, If any one love me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our abode with him.

²³ I in them and thou in me, that they may be perfected into one [and] that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and [that] thou hast loved them as thou hast loved me.

⁵ and hope does not make ashamed, because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by [the] Holy Spirit which has been given to us:

⁹ But *ye* are not in flesh but in Spirit, if indeed God`s Spirit dwell in you; but if any one has not [the] Spirit of Christ *he* is not of him: ¹⁰ but if Christ be in you, the body is dead on account of sin, but the Spirit life on account of righteousness. ¹¹ But if the Spirit of him that has raised up Jesus from among [the] dead dwell in you, he that has raised up Christ from among [the] dead shall quicken your mortal bodies also on account of his Spirit which dwells in you.

¹ But concerning things sacrificed to idols, we know, (for we all have knowledge: knowledge puffs up, but love edifies.

¹⁴ For the love of the Christ constrains us, having judged this: that one died for all, then all have died; ¹⁵ and he died for all, that they who live should no longer live to themselves, but to him who died for them and has been raised.

¹⁶ and what agreement of God`s temple with idols? for *ye* are [the] living God`s temple; according as God has said, I will dwell among them, and walk among [them]; and I will be their God, and they shall be to me a people.

²⁰ I am crucified with Christ, and no longer live, *I*, but Christ lives in me; but [in] that I now live in flesh, I live by faith, the [faith] of the Son of God, who has loved me and given himself for me.

⁶ For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision has any force, nor uncircumcision; but faith working through love.

²¹ in whom all [the] building fitted together increases to a holy temple in the Lord; ²² in whom *ye* also are built together for a habitation of God in [the] Spirit.

²³ if indeed ye abide in the faith founded and firm, and not moved away from the hope of the glad tidings, which ye have heard, which have been proclaimed in the whole creation which [is] under heaven, of which *I* Paul became minister.

²⁷ to whom God would make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the nations, which is Christ in you the hope of glory:

⁷ rooted and built up in him, and assured in the faith, even as ye have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.

⁴ *Ye* are of God, children, and have overcome them, because greater is he that [is] in you than he that [is] in the world.

¹⁶ And *we* have known and have believed the love which God has to us. God is love, and he that abides in love abides in God, and God in him.

²⁰ Behold, I stand at the door and am knocking; if any one hear my voice and open the door, I will come in unto him and sup with him, and he with me.
