¹⁷⁴ I longe for thy sauynge health (o LORDE) & in thy lawe is my delyte.

¹⁸ LORDE I loke for thy saluacion.

⁵ euen so shal my house be with God. For he hath made an euerlastinge couenaunt with me, well appoynted on euery syde and sure. For this is all my health & pleasure, that it shal growe.

² But delyteth in the lawe of ye LORDE, & exercyseth himself in his lawe both daye and night.

¹⁶ My delite shalbe in thy statutes, I will not forget thy wordes.

²⁴ In thy testimonies is my delite, they are my councelers.

⁴⁷ My delite shalbe in thy commaundementes, which I loue.

⁷⁷ O let thy louynge mercies come vnto me, that I maye lyue, for thy lawe is my delyte.

⁸¹ My soule longeth for thy sauynge health, for my trust is in thy worde.

¹² Longe tarienge for a thinge that is dyfferred, greueth ye herte: but when the desyre commeth, it is a tre of life.

⁸ I charge you therfore (o ye doughters of Ierusalem) yf ye fynde my beloued, that ye tell him, how that I am sick for loue.

²² For I delite in the lawe of God after the inwarde man: ²³ but I se another lawe in my membres, which stryueth agaynst ye lawe of my mynde, and taketh me presoner in ye lawe of synne, which is in my membres. ²⁴ O wretched man that I am, who shal delyuer me from the body of this death? ²⁵ I thanke God thorow Iesus Christ oure LORDE. So then wt the mynde I serue ye lawe of God, but with the flesh the lawe of synne.

²³ Not they only, but we oure selues also, which haue the first frutes of the sprete, grone within in oure selues for the childshippe, and loke for ye delyueraunce of oure bodye. ²⁴ For we are saued i dede, howbeit i hope: but ye hope that is sene, is no hope: for how can a man hope for that which he seyeth? ²⁵ But yf we hope for that which we se not, the do we thorow pacience abyde for it.

²³ I shal chose, for both these thinges lye harde vpon me. I desyre to be lowsed, & to be with Christ, which thinge were moch better (for me)
