²² But the scrybes that were come downe from Ierusalem, sayde: He hath Belzebub, and thorow the chefe deuell casteth he out deuyls.

⁶ But as for me, I am a worme and no man: a very scorne of me and the outcast of the people.

³⁴ But ye Pharises sayde: he casteth out deuyls, thorow the chefe deuyll.

²⁵ It is ynough for the disciple, to be as his master, and the seruaunt as his LORDE. Yf they haue called the good ma of the house Beelzebub, how moch more shal they call them of his housholde so?

¹⁸ For Ihon came nether eatinge nor drynkinge, & they saye: he hath the deuyll.

²⁴ But whan the Pharises herde that, they sayde: He dryueth the deuyls out none other wyse, but thorow Beelzebub the chefe of the deuyls.

¹ Then came vnto him the scribes and pharises from Ierusalem, sayenge:

¹ And there came vnto him the Pharises, and certayne of the scrybes, that were come from Ierusale.

¹⁷ And it fortuned vpo a daye, yt he taught, and there sat ye Pharises and scrybes, which were come out of all the townes of Galile, and Iewry, and fro Ierusale, and the power of the LORDE wete fro him, & healed euery man.

¹⁵ But some of them sayde: He dryueth out the deuels, thorow Beelzebub the chefe of the deuels.

²⁰ The people answered, and sayde: Thou hast the deuell, who goeth aboute to kyll the?

⁴⁸ Then answered the Iewes, and sayde vnto him: Saye we not right, that thou art a Samaritane, and hast the deuell?

⁵² Then sayde the Iewes vnto him: Now knowe me, that thou hast the deuell. Abraham is deed and the prophetes, and thou sayest: Yf eny ma kepe my worde, he shal neuer taist of death.
