¹ In the begynnynge was the worde, and the worde was with God, and God was ye worde.

¹ In ye begynnynge God created heauen & earth:

⁶ Thy arowes are sharpe, the people shalbe subdued vnto the, euen in the myddest amonge the kynges enemies.

²² The LORDE himself had me in possessio in the begynnynge of his wayes, or euer he begame his workes aforetyme. ²³ I haue bene ordened fro euerlastige, & fro ye beginnynge or euer the earth was made. ²⁴ When I was borne, there were nether depthes ner springes of water. ²⁵ Before the foundacions of ye mountaynes were layed, yee before all hilles was I borne. ²⁶ The earth and all that is vpon the earth was not yet made, no not the grounde it self. ²⁷ For when he made the heauens, I was present: wha he set the depthes in ordre: ²⁸ whan he hanged the cloudes aboue: whan he fastened the sprynges of the depe: ²⁹ Whan he shutt the see within certayne bowndes, that ye waters shulde not go ouer their marckes. When he layed the foundacions of the earth, ³⁰ I was with him, ordringe all thinges, delytinge daylie & reioysynge allwaye before him. ³¹ As for the roude copase of his worlde, I make it ioyfull, for my delyte is to be amoge the children of men.

¹⁴ And therfore the LORDE shal geue you a token of himself: Beholde, a virgin shal coceaue and beare a sonne, and shal call his name Emanuel.

⁶ For vnto us a childe shalbe borne, and vnto us a sonne shalbe geue. Vpo his shulder shal the kyngdome lye, and he shalbe called wt his owne name: The woderous geuer of councel, the mightie God, the euerlastinge father, the prynce of peace,

⁹ Go vp vnto the hill (o Sion) thou that bringest good tidinges, lift vp thy voyce with power, o thou preacher Ierusalem. Lift it vp without feare, and say vnto the cities of Iuda: Beholde, youre God: ¹⁰ beholde, the LORDE, euen the almightie sha come with power, & beare rule with his arme. Beholde, he bringeth his treasure with him, and his workes go before him. ¹¹ He shal fede his flock like an hirdman. He shal gather the lambes together with his arme, and carie them in his bosome, & shal kindly intreate those that beare yonge.

²³ Beholde, a mayde shall be with chylde, and shall brynge forth a sonne, and they shall call his name Emanuel, which is by interpretacion, God wt vs.

² The same was in the begynnynge wt God.

¹⁴ And the worde became flesh, and dwelt amonge vs: and we sawe his glory, a glory as of the onely begotte sonne of the father, full of grace and trueth.

¹⁸ No man hath sene God at eny tyme. The onely begotte sonne which is in the bosome of the father, he hath declared the same vnto vs.

³⁰ I and the father are one. ³¹ Then the Iewes toke vp stones agayne, to stone him. ³² Iesus answered the: Many good workes haue I shewed you fro my father, for which of the stone ye me? ³³ The Iewes answered hi, and sayde: For the good worke sake we stone the not, but for the blasphemy: and because yt thou beynge a man, makest thyself God.

²⁸ I wente out from the father, and came in to the worlde: Agayne, I leaue ye worlde, and go to the father.

⁵ And now glorifye me thou father by thine awne self, with ye glory which I had or euer the worlde was.

²⁸ Thomas answered, & sayde vnto him: My LORDE, and my God.

⁵ whose are also the fathers, off whom (after the flesh) commeth Christ, which is God ouer all, blessed for euer, Ame.

⁹ and to make all men se, what is the fellishippe of the mystery, which fro the begynnynge of the worlde hath bene hyd in God, which made all thiges thorow Iesus Christ:

⁶ which beyinge in the shappe of God, thought it not robbery to be equall with God,

¹⁷ and he is before all thinges, and in him all thinges haue their beynge.

¹⁶ and without naye, greate is that mystery of godlynes. God was shewed in the flesh: was iustified in the sprete: was sene of angels: was preached vnto the Heythen: was beleued on in the worlde: was receaued vp in glory.

¹³ lokynge for that blessed hope and appearynge of the glory of ye greate God and of oure Sauioure Iesu Christ:

⁸ But vnto ye sonne he sayeth: God, yi seate endureth for euer & euer: the cepter of yi kyngdome is a right cepter. ⁹ Thou hast loued righteousnes, & hated iniquyte: wherfore God (which is thy God) hath anoynted the with the oyle of gladnesse aboue yi felowes. ¹⁰ And thou LORDE in ye begynnynge hast layed the foundacion of the earth, and ye heaues are the workes of thy handes, ¹¹ they shal perishe, but thou shalt endure: they all shal waxe olde as doth a garmet, ¹² and as a vesture shalt thou chaunge them, and they shalbe chaunged. But thou art ye same, and thy yeares shal not fayle. ¹³ Vnto which of the angels sayde he at eny tyme: Syt thou on my righte hade, tyll I make thyne enemies thy fote stole?

³ without father, without mother, without kynne, and hath nether begynnynge of dayes, ner ende of life: but is likened vnto the sonne of God, and contynueth a prest for euer.

⁸ Iesus Christ yesterdaye and Todaye, & the same cotinueth for euer.

¹ Symon Peter a seruaut and an Apostle of Iesus Christ.Vnto the which haue optayned like faith with vs in the righteousnes that commeth of oure God, and Sauioure Iesus Christ.

¹ That which was from ye begynnynge, which we haue herde, which we haue sene with or eyes, which we haue loked vpon, and or handes haue handled of the worde of life: ² and the life hath appeared, and we haue sene, and beare wytnes, and shewe vnto you ye life that is euerlastinge, which was with the father, and hath apeared vnto vs.

⁷ (For there are thre which beare recorde in heauen: the father, the worde, and the holy goost, & these thre are one.)

²⁰ But we knowe, that the sonne of God is come, and hath geuen vs a mynde, to knowe him which is true: and we are in him yt is true, in his sonne Iesu Christ. This is the true God, and euerlastinge life.

² which bare recorde of the worde of God, and of the testimony of Iesus Christe, and of all thinges that he sawe.

⁸ I am Alpha and Omega, the begynninge and the endinge, sayteh ye LORDE almighty, which is and which was and which is to come.

¹¹ sayenge: I am Alpha and Omega, the fyrst and ye laste. That thou seist, write in a boke, and sende it vnto the cogregacions which are in Asia, vnto Ephesus and vnto Smyrna, and vnto Pargamos, and vnto Thiatira, and vnto Sardis, and vnto Philadelphia, and vnto Laodicia.

¹⁷ And when I sawe him, I fell at his fete, euen as deed. And he layde his right honde vpon me, sayenge vnto me: feare not. I am the fyrst, and the laste,

⁸ And vnto the angell of the congregacion of Smyrna wryte: These thinges saith he that is fyrst, and the last, which was deed, and is aliue:

¹⁴ And vnto the angell of the cogregacion, which is in Laodicia wryte: This sayth Amen the faithfull and true witnes, the begynnynge of ye creatures of God.

¹³ And he was clothed with a vesture dipt in bloude, and his name is called, ye worde of God.

⁶ And he sayde vnto me: it is done I am Alpha and Omega, the begynnynge, and the ende. I wil geue to him that is a thyrst of the well of the water of life fre.

¹³ I am Alpha and Omega, ye beginnynge and the ende: the first & the last.
