⁸ which goeth in ye company of wicked doers, & walketh wt vngodly me?

¹⁰ But Iob sayde vnto her: Thou speakest like a foolish woma. Seinge we haue receaued prosperite at the honde of God, wherfore shulde we not be content with aduersite also? In all these thinges, dyd not Iob synne with his lippes.

³ Shulde men geue eare vnto the only? Thou wilt laugh other men to scorne, & shal no body mocke the agayne?

⁵ but thy wickednesse teacheth thy mouth, and so thou hast chosen the a craftie tonge.

¹⁵ Well, thou wilt kepe the olde waye, yt all wicked me haue gone:

¹ O blessed is ye man, yt goeth not in the councell of ye vngodly: yt abydeth not in the waye off synners, & sytteth not in ye seate of the scornefull.

⁴ I syt not amoge vayne personnes, and haue no fellishepe with the disceatfull.

¹⁸ Yf thou seist a thefe, thou runnest with him, and art partaker with the aduouterers.

¹² Lo, these are the vngodly, these prospere in the worlde, these haue riches in possession. ¹³ Shulde I then clense my hert in vayne (thought I) & wash my hondes in innocency? ¹⁴ Wherfore shulde I be then punyshed daylie, & be chastened euery mornynge? ¹⁵ Yee I had allmost also sayde euen as they: but lo, then shulde I haue condemned the generacion of thy children.

¹⁵ My sonne, walke not thou wt them, refrayne yi fote fro their wayes.

¹² That thou mayest be delyuered fro ye euell waye, and from the man yt speaketh frowarde thinges.

¹⁴ Come not in the path of the vngodly, and walke not in the waye of the wicked.

²⁰ He that goeth in the company of wyse men, shal be wyse: but who so is a copanyo of fooles, shal be hurte.
