³ For thus saieth the LORDE, to all Iuda and Ierusalem: plowe youre londe, and sowe not amonge the thornes.

¹⁸ Thornes and thistles shalt it beare vnto the, and thou shalt eate the herbes of the felde.

¹² that they might sowe vnto rightuousnes, and reape the frutes of weldoynge: yt they might plowe vp their fresh londe, and seke the LORDE, till he came, and lerned them rightuousnes.

⁷ Some fell amoge the thornes, & the thornes grewe vp, and choked it.

²² As for him that is sowne amonge ye thornes, this is he: Wha one heareth the worde, & the carefulnes of this worlde, & the disceatfulnes of riches choke the worde, & so he becometh vnfrutefull.

⁷ And some fel amonge the thornes, & the thornes grew vp, and choked it, and it gaue no frute.

¹⁸ And these are they that are sowen amoge the thornes: which heare the worde, ¹⁹ and ye carefulues of this worlde, and the disceatfulnes of riches, and many other lustes entre in, and choke the worde, and so is it made vnfrutefull.

⁷ And some fell amonge thornes, and the thornes sprange vp with it, and choked it.

¹⁴ As for it that fel amonge the thornes, are soch as heare it, and go forth amonge the cares, riches and volupteousnesses of this life, and are choked and brynge forth no frute.

⁷ Be not disceaued, God wil not be mocked. For what soeuer a man soweth, that shal he reape. ⁸ He that soweth vpon the flesh, shal of the flesh reape destruccion: But he that soweth vpon ye sprete, shal of the sprete reape life euerlastinge.
