¹⁷ Neuertheles the mydwyues feared God, & dyd not as the kinge of Egipte commaunded them, but let the children lyue.

¹¹ Abraham sayde: I thought: Peraduenture there is no feare of God in this place, & they shall sleye me for my wifes sake,

¹⁸ Vpon the thirde daye he sayde vnto the: Yf ye wil lyue, the do thus, for I feare God:

²¹ And for so moch as the mydwyues feared God, he made them houses.

⁶ With louynge mercy & faithfulnesse synnes be forgeuen, and who so feareth ye LORDE eschueth euell.

¹¹ Delyuer the yt go vnto death, & are led awaie to be slaine, & be not necliget therin. ¹² Yf thou wilt saye: I knewe not of it. Thynkest thou yt he which made ye hertes, doth not cosidre it? & yt he which regardeth yi soule, seith it not? Shal not he recopence euery man acordinge to his workes?

¹² But though an euell personne offende an hundreth tymes, and haue a longe life: yet am I sure, that it shal go well with the that feare God, because they haue him before their eyes.

¹³ Lat vs heare the conclucion of all thinges: Feare God, and kepe his comaundementes, for that toucheth all men:

¹¹ Ephraim is oppressed, and can haue no right of the lawe: for why? they folowe ye doctrynes of men.

¹⁶ Ye kepe the ordinaunces of Amri, & all the customes of the house of Achab: ye folowe their pleasures, therfore wil I make the waist, & cause yi inhabiters to be abhorred, O my people: & thus shalt thou beare thine owne shame.

²⁸ And feare ye not them that kyll the body, and be not able to kyll the soule. But rather feare hi, which is able to destroye both soule and body in to hell.

⁵ But I wil shewe you, whom ye shal feare. Feare him, which after he hath kylled, hath power also to cast in to hell: Yee I saye vnto you: Feare him.

¹⁸ And they called them, and comaunded the, that in eny wyse they shulde not speake ner teache in the name of Iesu. ¹⁹ But Peter & Ihon answered, and sayde vnto the: Iudge ye youre selues, whether it be right before God, that we shulde be more obedient vnto you, then vnto God. ²⁰ We can not chose, but speake that we haue sene & herde.

²⁹ But Peter and the Apostles answered, and sayde: We ought more to obeye God then men.
