²² For the fyre is kyndled in my wrath, and shal burne vnto ye nethermost hell, and shal consume the londe with the increase therof, and set the foundacions of ye mountaynes on fyre.

³⁵ Morouer the fyre came out fro the LORDE, and consumed the two hundreth and fyftye men, that offred the incense.

²⁰ Then shall not the LORDE be mercifull vnto him, but his wrath and gelousy shall smoke ouer soch a man, and all the curses that are wrytten in this boke, shall lighte vpon him: and the LORDE shal put out his name from vnder heauen,

⁵ He translateth the moutaynes, or euer they be awarre, & ouerthroweth them in his wrath. ⁶ He remoueth the earth out of hir place, that hir pilers shake withall.

⁷ The the earth trembled & quaked, the very foudacios of the hilles shoke & were remoued, because he was wrothe. ⁸ There wete a smoke out of his nostrels, ad a cosumynge fyre out of his mouth, so yt coales were kyndled at it.

⁹ Thou shalt make the like a fyre ouen in tyme of thy wrath: the LORDE shal destroye the in his displeasure, & the fyre shall consume them.

² Therfore wil we not feare, though the earth fell, and though the hilles were caried in to the myddest of the see.

¹⁴ Like as a fyre that burneth vp the wodd, & as the flame that consumeth the mountaynes.

¹³ For greate is thy mercy towarde me, thou hast delyuered my soule from ye nethermost hell.

³ There goeth a fyre before him, to burne vp his enemies on euery syde.

⁵ Bowe thy heaues (o LORDE) & come downe, touch the mountaynes, yt they maye smoke withall.

⁶ And therfore shal the curse deuoure the earth: for they yt dwel thero, haue synned. wherfore they shalbe brent also, and those that remayne, shalbe very few.

¹⁹ The earth shal geue a greate crack, it shal haue a sore ruyne, and take an horrible fall. ²⁰ The earth shal stacker like a dronken man, and be take awaye like a tent. Hir misdedes shal lie so heuye vpo her, yt she must fall, and neuer rise vp agayne.

³³ For he hath prepared the fyre of payne from the begynnynge, yee euen for kynges also. This hath he made depe & wyde, ye norishinge therof is fyre and wodde innumerable, which the breath ofte LORDE kyndleth, as it were a match of brymstone.

¹⁰ The mountaynes shall remoue, & the hilles shal fall downe: but my louynge kyndnesse shal not moue, and the bonde off my peace shal not fall downe fro ye, saieth ye LORDE thy merciful louer.

¹⁵ For beholde, the LORDE shal come wt fyre, and his charet shal be like a whyrlwynde, that he maye recompence his vengeaunce in his wrath, and his indignacion with the flame of fyre. ¹⁶ For ye LORDE shal iudge all flesh with the fyre and with his swerde, and there shalbe a greate nombre slayne of the LORDE.

⁴ Be circumcided in the LORDE, and cut awaye the foreskynne of youre hertes, all ye of Iuda, and all the indwellers of Ierusalem: that my indignacion breake not out like fyre, & kyndle, so that no man maye quench it, because of the wickednes of youre ymaginacions.

¹⁴ And I wil brige you with youre enemies in to a londe, yt ye knowe not: for the fyre that is kyndled in my indignacion, shal burne you vp.

⁴ Ye shal be cast out also from the heretage, that I gaue you. And I wil subdue you vnder the heuy bodage of youre enemies, in a londe that ye knowe not. For ye haue ministred fyre to my indignacion, which shal burne euermore.

³ In the wrath of his indignacion he hath broken all the horne of Israel: he hath withdrawe his right honde from the enemie: yee a flame of fyre is kyndled in Iacob, & hath consumed vp all rounde aboute.

¹¹ The LORDE hath perfourmed his heuy wrath: he hath poured out the furiousnes of his displeasure. He hath kindled a fyre in Sion, which hath consumed the foundacions therof.

⁵ Yee eue thus saieth the LORDE God: In the fyre of my gelousy haue I taken a deuyce, agaynst the resydue of the Getiles, and agaynst all Edom: which haue take in my lode vnto theselues for a possession: which also reioysed fro their whole herte wt a despiteful stomacke, to waist it, and to spoyle it.

⁴ The moutaynes shall consume vnder him, & the valleys shal cleue asunder: like as wax cosumeth at the fyre, & as ye waters runne downwarde. ⁵ The mountaynes tremble for him, the hilles consume. At the sight of him, the earth quaketh: yee the whole worlde, and all that dwell therin. ⁶ Who maye endure before his wrath? Or who is able to abyde his grymme displeasure? His anger taketh on like fyre, and the harde rockes burst in sunder before him.

¹⁰ When the mountaynes saw the, they were afrayed, ye water streame wete awaye: the depe made a noyse at the liftinge vp of thine honde.

⁸ Therfore ye shal waite vpon me (saieth the LORDE) vntil the tyme that I stonde vp: for I am determed, to gather the people and to bringe the kingdomes together, that I maye poure out myne anger, yee all my wrothfull displeasure vpon them. For all the worlde shalbe consumed with the fyre of my gelousy.

¹ For marck, the daye commeth that shall burne as an oue: and all the proude, yee and all soch as do wickednesse, shalbe straw: and the daye that is for to come, shall burne the vp (sayeth the LORDE of hoostes) so that it shal leaue them nether rote ner braunch. ² But vnto you that feare my name, shall the Sone of rightuousnesse aryse, & health shalbe vnder his winges. Ye shal go forth, & multiplie as ye fat calues.

²⁸ And feare ye not them that kyll the body, and be not able to kyll the soule. But rather feare hi, which is able to destroye both soule and body in to hell.

⁹ And yf thyne eye offende the, plucke it out, & cast it from the. Better it is for the to entre in vnto life with one eye, the to haue two eyes, and to be cast in to hell fyre.

³³ O ye serpentes, O ye generacion of vypers, how wyl ye escape the damnacion of Hell?

⁴³ Yf thy hade offende the, cut him of. Better it is for the to entre in to life lame, the hauynge two hondes to go in to hell in to the euerlastinge fyre, ⁴⁴ where their worme dyeth not, and their fyre goeth not out. ⁴⁵ Yf thy fote offende the, cut him of. Better it is for the to entre into life crepell, the hauynge two fete to be cast in to hell in the fyre euerlastynge, ⁴⁶ where their worme dyeth not, and their fyre goeth not out. ⁴⁷ Yf thine eye offende the, cast him from the. Better it is for the to entre in to ye kyngdome of God with one eye, then hauynge two eyes to be cast in to the fyre of hell: ⁴⁸ where their worme dyeth not, and their fyre goeth not out.

⁸ and with flammynge fyre, to geue vengeauce vnto them that knowe not God, and to them that obeye not the Gospell of oure LORDE Iesus Christ.

²⁹ For oure God is a consumynge fyre.
