¹⁵ For these are not dronken, as ye suppose, for it is yet but the thirde houre of ye daye:

¹⁵ Neuertheles Anna answered and sayde: No my lorde, I am a soroufull woman, wyne and stronge drynke haue I not dronken but haue poured out my hert before ye LORDE.

³ And aboute ye thirde houre he wente out, and sawe other stondinge ydle in the market place,

⁵ Ye are alltogether children of lighte, and children of the daye. We are not of the night, nether of darknesse. ⁶ Therfore let vs not slepe as do other, but let vs watch, and be sober. ⁷ For they that slepe, slepe in the nighte: and they that be dronken, are dronken in the nighte. ⁸ But let vs which are of the daye, be sober, armed wt the brestplate of faith and loue, and with ye helmet of hope to saluacion.
