²³ and gaue the letters in their handes after this maner: We the Apostles and Elders & brethren, wysh health vnto the brethre of the Heythe which are at Antioche, and Syria and Celicia.

¹⁸ Whan they herde this, they helde their peace, and praysed God, and sayde: Then hath God also to the Heithen graunted repentaunce vnto life.

²⁷ Whan they came there, they gathered the congregacion together, & shewed them, how greate thinges God had done with the, and how he had opened the dore of faithe vnto the Heithen.

¹ And there came certayne fro Iewry, and taughte the brethren: Excepte ye be circumcysed after the maner of Moses, ye can not be saued.

⁴ Whan they came to Ierusale, they were receaued of ye cogregacion, & of the Apostles, and of the Elders, & they tolde how greate thinges God had done with the.

²² And the Apostles and Elders with the whole congregacion thoughte it good, to chose out men of them, and to sende them vnto Antioche with Paul and Barnabas, namely Iudas, whose syrname was Barsabas, and Sylas (which were chefe men amoge the brethre)

⁴¹ He wente thorow Syria and Celicia, stablishynge the congregacions.

¹⁸ Paul after yt he had taried a good whyle, toke his leue of the brethren, and sayled in to Syria, Priscilla & Aquila bearinge him company. And he shore his heade at Cenchrea (for he had a vowe)

³ But wha we came within the sighte of Cypers, we lefte it on the lefte hande, and sayled vnto Syria, and came vnto Tyre: for there the shippe shulde laye forth the ware.

²⁵ For as touchinge them that beleue amonge the Heythen, we haue wrytten, and concluded, that they shulde obserue no soch, but onely to kepe them selues from the offeringes of Idols, from bloude, from stragled, and from whordome.

²⁶ Claudius Lysias, vnto the most mightie Debyte Felix, gretynge.

³ Grete Prisca and Aquila my helpers in Christ Iesu, ⁴ which for my life haue layed downe their awne neckes: vnto whom not I onely geue thankes, but all the congregacions of the Heythen. ⁵ Grete the congregacion also in their house. Salute Epenetos my beloued, which is ye first frute amoge the of Achaia i Christ. ⁶ Grete Mary, which hath bestowed moch laboure on vs. ⁷ Salute Andronicus & Iunia my cosens, & felowe presoners, which are awncient Apostles, & were before me in Christ. ⁸ Grete Amplias my beloued in ye LORDE. ⁹ Salute Vrban or helper in Christ, & Stachis my beloued. ¹⁰ Salute Apelles approued in Christ. Salute them which are of Aristobolus housholde. ¹¹ Salute Herodion my kynssman. Grete the which are of Narcissus housholde in the LORDE ¹² Salute Tryphena & Tryphosa, which haue laboured in ye LORDE. Salute my beloued Persida, which hath laboured moch & ye LORDE. ¹³ Salute Ruffus ye chosen in ye LORDE: & his mother & myne. ¹⁴ Grete Asyncritus, Phlego, Herman, Patrobas, Hermen, & ye brethre wt the. ¹⁵ Salute Philologus & Iulia, Nerius & his sister, & Olympa, & all the sayntes. wt the ¹⁶ Salute one another wt an holy kysse. The cogregacions of Christ salute you.

²¹ After that wente I in to the coastes of Syria and Celicia:

¹ Iames the seruaunt of God and of the LORDE Iesus Christ, sendeth gretinge to the xij. trybes which are scatered here & there.

³ Grace, mercy, and peace be with you fro the LORDE Iesus Christ ye sonne of the father in the trueth and in loue.

¹⁰ Yf eny man come vnto you, and brynge not this doctryne, receaue him not in to the house, nether salute him:

¹³ The children of thy electe sister salute the. Amen. ¹⁴ But I trust shortly to se the and so wyl we speake together mouth to mouth.
