³¹ For with them He gives sustenance to the peoples; He gives food in abundance.

¹⁷ And I, behold Me bringing a deluge of water over the earth to wreck all flesh, which has in it the spirit of the living, from under the heavens. All that is in the earth shall expire.

¹⁷ And coming is the deluge forty days and forty nights on the earth. And increasing are the waters, and lifting up the ark, and it is high above the earth. ¹⁸ And having the mastery are the waters and they are increasing exceedingly on the earth, and going is the ark on the surface of the water. ¹⁹ And the water has the mastery exceeding exceedingly on the earth. And covered are all the lofty mountains which are under the entire heavens. ²⁰ Fifteen cubits above has the water the mastery, and covered are all the mountains. ²¹ And expiring is all flesh moving on the earth, of flyer, and of beast, and of living animal, and of every roaming animal roaming on the earth, and every human. ²² Everyone which has the breath of the spirit of the living in his nostrils, of all that were in the drained area, dies. ²³ And wiped off is every risen thing which was on the surface of all the ground, from human to beast, from moving animal to the flyer of the heavens. And being wiped are they from the earth. Yea, only Noah is remaining, and what is with him in the ark. ²⁴ And lofty are the waters on the earth a hundred and fifty days.

²⁴ And Yahweh rains on Sodom and on Gomorrah sulphur and fire from Yahweh, from the heavens.

²³ So Moses stretched out his rod to the heavens, and Yahweh, He gave thundering sounds and hail, and fire ran earthward. Thus Yahweh rained hail over the land of Egypt. ²⁴ And the hail came with fire taking hold of itself in the midst of the hail, exceedingly heavy, such as had not come in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation. ²⁵ Now the hail smote in all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, from human unto beast. Also the hail smote all herbage of the field and broke every tree of the field.

² And remember all the way which Yahweh your Elohim caused you to go these forty years in the wilderness, that He might make you humble, to probe you so as to know what is in your heart, whether or not you shall observe His instructions.

¹⁵ Who was causing you to go through the great and fear-inspiring wilderness with burning serpents and scorpions and thirsty ground in which there is no water, Who was bringing forth for you water from the flinty rock,

¹¹ And it comes to pass, in their fleeing from the face of Israel--they [are] in the descent of Beth-Horon--and Yahweh has cast upon them great stones out of the heavens, unto Azekah, and they die; more are they who have died by the hailstones than they whom the sons of Israel have slain by the sword.

¹⁰ Yahweh--broken down are His adversaries, Against them in the heavens He thunders:Yahweh judges the ends of earth, And gives strength to His king, And exalts the horn of His anointed..

¹⁰ and Samuel is causing the burnt-offering to go up--and the Philistines have drawn nigh to battle against Israel--and Yahweh does thunder with a great noise, on that day, upon the Philistines, and troubles them, and they are smitten before Israel.

¹⁸ And Samuel calls unto Yahweh, and Yahweh gives voices and rain, on that day, and all the people greatly fear Yahweh and Samuel;"

¹³ Whether it be for a club that He fulfills His approved plan, Or for benignity, it is He Who causes it to occur.

²² Have you entered into the treasuries of snow, And have you seen the treasuries of hail, ²³ Which I have kept back for the season of distress, For the day of attack and war?

²⁶ To bring rain on a land where no man is, A wilderness with no human it it, ²⁷ To satisfy areas of ruination and wasteness, And to cause verdure to sprout from the arid place?

⁹ You will supervise the land and shall make it flourish; Much shall you enrich it. The rillet of Elohim will fill with water. You shall provide their grain, for thus shall You prepare it." ¹⁰ You will soak its furrows and settle its slashes; With showers shall You soften it; Its sprouting shall You bless. ¹¹ You will crown the year with Your goodness, And Your rounds shall drip with richness." ¹² The oases of the wilderness shall drip richly, And with exultation the hills shall be girded." ¹³ The meadows will be clothed with the flock, And the vales, they shall droop with cereal grain. They shall raise a joyful shout! Indeed, they shall sing! {Permanent{ "

¹³ You are the One irrigating the mountains from His upper chambers; From the fruit of Your works the earth is satisfied: ¹⁴ You are the One making grass sprout for the beasts And herbage for the service of humanity, To bring forth bread from the earth" ¹⁵ And wine that makes the heart of a mortal rejoice, To make the face lustrous with oil, And bread that braces the heart of mortal man."

²⁷ All of them look forward to You To supply their food in its season; ²⁸ You supply it to them; they pick it up. You open Your hand; they are well satisfied.

²⁵ Who is giving nourishment to all flesh, For His benignity is eonian;"

¹⁷ although He leaves Himself not without the testimony of good acts, giving showers from heaven and fruitbearing seasons, filling our hearts with nourishment and gladness."
