¹ Brethren, if a man should be precipitated, also, in some offense, you, who are spiritual, be attuning such a one, in a spirit of meekness, noting yourself, that you, also, may not be tried."

²⁰ And starting is Noah as a man who serves the ground, and planting is he a vineyard. ²¹ And drinking is he of the wine and is drunk, and is exposing himself in the midst of his tent. ²² And seeing is Ham (father of Canaan) the nakedness of his father, and faring forth, he is telling his two brothers outside. ²³ And taking are Shem and Japheth a garment, and are placing it on the shoulders of the two, and they are going backward, and covering the nakedness of their father. And their faces were backward, and the nakedness of their father they did not see. ²⁴ And waking is Noah from his wine, and he knows what his small son has done to him.

¹¹ And coming is it, as Abram nears to come to Egypt, that saying is Abram to Sarai, his wife, "Behold, pray! I know that a woman of lovely appearance are you, ¹² and when it comes that the Egyptians see you and say, `His wife is this,' then they will kill me, yet you they will keep alive. ¹³ Say, pray, that my sister are you, that it may be well with me for your sake, and live may my soul due to you.

¹⁰ Moses and Aaron assembled the assembly before the crag, and he said to them:Hear, I pray, you rebels! From this crag shall we bring forth water for you? ¹¹ When Moses raised up his hand and smote the crag with his rod twice, then much water came forth, and the congregation and their livestock drank. ¹² Yet Yahweh said to Moses and to Aaron:Because you did not believe in Me to sanctify Me before the eyes of the sons of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I will give to them. ¹³ These were the waters of Meribah where the sons of Israel contended with Yahweh, and He showed Himself holy among them.

² and it comes to pass, at evening-time, that David rises from off his couch, and walks up and down on the roof of the king's house, and sees from the roof a woman bathing, and the woman [is] of very good appearance, ³ and David sends and inquires about the woman, and said, `Is not this Bath-Sheba, daughter of Eliam, wife of Uriah the Hittite?. <sup>4</sup> And David sends messengers, and takes her, and she comes unto him, and he lies with her--and she is purifying herself from her uncleanness--and she turns back unto her house;" <sup>5</sup> and the woman conceives, and sends, and declares to David, and said, `I [am] conceiving.. ⁶ And David sends unto Joab, `Send unto me Uriah the Hittite,' and Joab sends Uriah unto David;" <sup>7</sup> and Uriah comes unto him, and David asks of the prosperity of Joab, and of the prosperity of the people, and of the prosperity of the war. <sup>8</sup> And David said to Uriah, `Go down to your house, and wash your feet;' and Uriah goes out of the king's house, and there goes out after him a gift from the king, ⁹ and Uriah lies down at the opening of the king's house, with all the servants of his lord, and has not gone down unto his house. ¹⁰ And they declare to David, saying, `Uriah has not gone down unto his house;' and David said unto Uriah, `Have you not come from a journey? wherefore have you not gone down unto your house?. ¹¹ And Uriah said unto David, `The ark, and Israel, and Judah, are abiding in booths, and my lord Joab, and the servants of my lord, on the face of the field are encamping; and I--I go in unto my house to eat and to drink, and to lie with my wife! --your life, and the life of your soul--if I do this thing.. <sup>12</sup> And David said unto Uriah, `Abide in this [place] also to-day, and to-morrow I send you away;' and Uriah abides in Jerusalem, on that day, and on the morrow, ¹³ and David calls for him, and he eats before him, and drinks, and he causes him to drink, and he goes out in the evening to lie on his couch with the servants of his lord, and unto his house he has not gone down. ¹⁴ And it comes to pass in the morning, that David writes a letter unto Joab, and sends by the hand of Uriah;" ¹⁵ and he writes in the letter, saying, `Place you Uriah over-against the front of the severest battle, and you have turned back from after him, and he has been smitten, and has died..

² The rich has flocks and herds very many; ³ And the poor one has nothing, Except one little ewe-lamb, Which he has bought, and keeps alive, And it grows up with him, And with his sons together; Of his morsel it eats, And from his cup it drinks, And in his bosom it lies, And it is to him as a daughter;" ⁴ And there comes a traveller to the rich man, And he spares to take Of his own flock, and of his own herd, To prepare for the traveller Who has come to him, And he takes the ewe-lamb of the poor man, And prepares it for the man Who has come unto him.. ⁵ And the anger of David burns against the man exceedingly, and he said unto Nathan, `Yahweh lives, surely a son of death [is] the man who is doing this, <sup>6</sup> and the ewe-lamb he does repay fourfold, because that he has done this thing, and because that he had no pity.. <sup>7</sup> And Nathan said unto David, `You [are] the man! Thus said Yahweh, Elohim of Israel, I anointed you for king over Israel, and I delivered you out of the hand of Saul;" ⁸ and I give to you the house of your lord, and the wives of your lord, into your bosom, and I give to you the house of Israel and of Judah; and if little, then I add to you such and such [things]. ⁹ `Wherefore have you despised the word of Yahweh, to do the evil thing in His eyes? Uriah the Hittite you have smitten by the sword, and his wife you have taken to you for a wife, and him you have slain by the sword of the Bene-Ammon. <sup>10</sup> `And now, the sword does not turn aside from your house unto the eon, because you have despised Me, and do take the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be to you for a wife;" ¹¹ thus said Yahweh, Lo, I am raising up against you evil, out of your house, and have taken your wives before your eyes, and given to your neighbor, and he has lain with your wives before the eyes of this sun;" ¹² for you have done [it] in secret, and I do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun.. ¹³ And David said unto Nathan, `I have sinned against Yahweh.' And Nathan said unto David, `Also--Yahweh has caused your sin to pass away; you do not die;" ¹⁴ only, because you have caused the enemies of Yahweh greatly to despise by this thing, also the son who is born to you does surely die.. ¹⁵ And Nathan goes unto his house, and Yahweh smites the lad, whom the wife of Uriah has born to David, and it is incurable;"

³ Behold, you have disciplined many, And you always fortified the slacking hands. ⁴ Your declarations raised the one stumbling, And you made the bowing knees resolute.

³ Make steadfast the hands that are slack, and the faltering knees make resolute." ⁴ Say to the hasty of heart:"Be steadfast! You must not fear! Behold! Your Elohim with vengeance shall come, and with the requital of Elohim shall He come and save you."

¹⁶ The lost I seek, and the driven away bring back, And the broken I bind up, and the sick I strengthen, And the fat and the strong I destroy, I feed it with judgment."

¹³ Now go, learn what this is: Mercy am I wanting, and not sacrifice. For I did not come to call the just but sinners."

²⁹ Lift My yoke upon you and be learning from Me, for meek am I and humble in heart, and you shall be finding rest in your souls,

¹² What are you supposing? If it should be occurring to any man, with a hundred sheep, that even one of them should be led astray, will he not leave the ninety-nine sheep on the mountains, and go and seek the one which is straying? ¹³ And if he should come to find it, verily, I am saying to you that he is rejoicing over it, rather than over the ninety-nine that have not strayed." ¹⁴ Thus it is not the will in front of your Father Who is in the heavens that one of these little ones should be perishing. ¹⁵ Now, if ever your brother should be sinning, go and expose him between you and him alone. If ever he should be hearing you, you gain your brother."

⁶⁹ Now Peter sat outside in the courtyard. And one maid came to him, saying, "You also were with Jesus, the Galilean."

⁷⁵ And immediately a cock crows. And Peter is reminded of the declaration of Jesus in which He had declared to him that "Ere a cock may crow, thrice will you be renouncing Me.And, coming outside, he laments bitterly."

⁴ What man of you, having a hundred sheep, and losing one of them, is not leaving the ninety-nine in the wilderness and is going after the lost one, till he may be finding it? ⁵ And finding it, he is placing it on his shoulders, rejoicing." ⁶ And, coming into the house, he is calling together the friends and the neighbors, saying to them, 'Rejoice together with me that I found my sheep that was lost!'" ⁷ I am saying to you that thus there will be joy in heaven over one sinner repenting, more than over the ninety-nine just persons who have no need of repentance."

²² Yet the father said to his slaves, 'Quick! Bring forth the first robe, and put it on him, and give him a ring for his hand and sandals for his feet." ²³ And bring the grain-fed calf, sacrifice it, and, eating, we may make merry, ²⁴ for this my son was dead and revives; he was lost and was found.' And they begin to make merry. ²⁵ Now his elder son was in the field, and, coming, as he nears the house, he hears music and choral dancing." ²⁶ And, calling one of the boys to him, he inquired to ascertain whatever this may be." ²⁷ Now he said to him that 'Your brother is arriving, and your father sacrifices the grain-fed calf, seeing that he got him back sound.'" ²⁸ Now he is indignant and would not enter. Yet his father, coming out, entreated him." ²⁹ Now he, answering, said to his father, 'Lo! so many years am I slaving for you, and I never passed by your precept, and you never give me a kid that I may make merry with my friends." ³⁰ Yet when this son of yours came, who is devouring your livelihood with prostitutes, you sacrifice for him the grain-fed calf!'" ³¹ Now he said to him, 'Child, you are always with me, and all mine is yours." ³² Yet we must be merry and rejoice, seeing that this your brother was dead and revives, and was lost and was found.'"

⁶ For the disposition of the flesh is death, yet the disposition of the spirit is life and peace,

¹ Now the infirm in the faith be taking to yourselves, but not for discrimination of reasonings."

¹ Now we, the able, ought to be bearing the infirmities of the impotent, and not to be pleasing ourselves."

¹⁵ Now he who is spiritual is, indeed, examining all, yet he is being examined by no one."

¹ And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual, but as to fleshy, as to minors in Christ."

²¹ What are you wanting? With a rod may I be coming to you, or in love and a spirit of meekness?

⁵ Do not deprive one another, except sometime it should be by agreement for a period, that you should gave leisure for prayer, and you may be the same again, lest Satan may be trying you because of your incontinence."

¹² So that, let him who is supposing he stands beware that he should not be falling."

³⁷ If anyone is presuming to be a prophet or spiritual, let him be recognizing that what I am writing to you is a precept of the Lord."

⁷ So that, on the contrary, you are rather to deal graciously and console, lest somehow such may be swallowed up by the more excessive sorrow."

¹ Now I, Paul, myself am entreating you, through the meekness and leniency of Christ, who, as to personal appearance, indeed, am humble among you, yet, being absent, have courage toward you. "

¹¹ Now when Cephas came to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, for he was self-censured." ¹² For, before the coming of some from James, he ate together with those of the nations. Yet when they came, he shrank back, and severed himself, fearing those of the Circumcision." ¹³ And the rest of the Jews also play the hypocrite with him, so that Barnabas also was led away with their hypocrisy."

²³ meekness, self-control: against such things there is no law."

¹⁵ and do not deem him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother."

²⁵ with meekness training those who are antagonizing, seeing whether God may be giving them repentance to come into a realization of the truth,

¹³ and make upright tracks for your feet, that the lame one may not turn aside, yet rather may be healed."

³ Be mindful of those bound, as bound together with them; of those maltreated, as being yourselves also in the body."

² For we all are tripping much. If anyone is not tripping in word, this one is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body also."

¹³ Who is wise and an adept among you? Let him show his works by an ideal behavior in meekness of wisdom.

¹⁹ My brethren, if anyone among you should be led astray from the way of the truth, and someone should be turning him back, ²⁰ let him know that he who turns back a sinner out of the deception of his way will be saving his soul from death and will be covering a multitude of sins.

¹⁵ yet hallow the Lord Christ in your hearts, ever ready with a defense for everyone who is demanding from you an account concerning the expectation in you, but with meekness and fear,

¹⁶ If anyone should be perceiving his brother sinning a sin not to death, he shall be requesting, and He will be giving him life for those sinning not to death. There is a sin to death: I am not saying that he should be asking concerning that."

²² And to those, indeed, who are doubting, be merciful, ²³ yet others be saving, snatching them out of the fire, yet to others be merciful with fear, hating even the tunic spotted by the flesh."
