⁴⁰ So when the Samaritans had come to Him, they were asking Him to stay with them; and He stayed there two days.

²⁶ And He said to him, Let Me go, for the day has dawned; but he said, I will not let You go, except You bless me.

¹³ Take hold of my instruction; do not let it go, but keep it for yourself, for your life.

⁴ It was as a little while after I parted from them, that I found him whom my soul loves: I held him, and did not let him go, until I brought him into my mother's house, and into the chamber of her that conceived me.

⁸ O Lord, You are the hope of Israel, and deliver us in times of trouble; why have You become as a sojourner upon the land, or as one born in the land, yet turning aside for a resting place?

³⁸ Now the man from whom the demons had come out was begging Him that he might be with Him. But Jesus sent him away, saying,

³⁹ And the woman had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus' feet and was listening to His word.

⁵ And when He came upon that place, Jesus looked up and saw him, and said to him, "Zacchaeus, hurry and come down, for today I must stay in your house." ⁶ So he hurried and came down, and received Him, rejoicing. ⁷ But when they saw it, they all were complaining, saying, "He has gone to be a guest with a sinful man." ⁸ Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, "Look, Lord, I give half of my possessions to the poor; and if I have extorted anything from anyone, I restore fourfold." ⁹ And Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham; ¹⁰ for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost."

²⁹ But they constrained Him, saying, "Stay with us, for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent." And He went in to stay with them.

¹⁵ And when she and her household were baptized, she urged us, saying, "If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay." So she persuaded us.

¹ And working together with Him, we also urge that you not receive the grace of God in vain. ² For He says: "In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in the day of salvation I have helped you." Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

²⁰ Behold, I stand at the door and I am knocking. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, then I will come in to him and I will dine with him, and he with Me.
