¹² Who has measured the water in His hand, and the heaven with a span, and all the earth in a handful? Who has weighed the mountains in scales, and the forests in a balance?

⁷ Will you find out the traces of the Lord? Or have you come to the end of that which the Almighty has made? ⁸ Heaven is high, and what will you do? And there are deeper things than those in hell; what do you know? ⁹ Or longer than the measure of the earth, or the breadth of the sea.

²⁵ all that He has made; the weight of the winds, the measures of the water.

⁴ Where were you when I founded the earth? Tell me now, if you have knowledge. ⁵ Who set the measures of it, if you know? Or who stretched a line upon it? ⁶ On what are its rings fastened? And who is He that laid the cornerstone upon it? ⁷ When the stars were made, all My angels praised Me with a loud voice. ⁸ And I shut up the sea with gates, when it rushed out, coming forth out its mother's womb. ⁹ And I made a cloud its clothing, and swathed it in mist. ¹⁰ And I set bounds to it, surrounding it with bars and gates. ¹¹ And I said to it, To this point you shall come, but you shall not go beyond, but your waves shall be confined within you.

²⁵ In the beginning You, O Lord, laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of Your hands. ²⁶ They shall perish, but You remain; and they all shall grow old like a garment; and as a vesture shall You fold them, and they shall be changed.

² who cover Yourself with light as with a garment; spreading out the heaven as a curtain. ³ Who covers His chambers with waters; who makes the clouds His chariot; who walks on the wings of the wind.

²⁶ The Lord made countries and uninhabited lands, and the highest inhabited parts of the world. ²⁷ When He prepared the heaven, I was present with Him; and when He prepared His throne upon the winds; ²⁸ and when He strengthened the clouds above, and when He secured the fountains of the earth;

⁴ Who has gone up to heaven, and come down? Who has gathered the winds in His bosom? Who has wrapped up the waters in a garment? Who has dominion of all the ends of the earth? What is His name? Or what is the name of His children?

¹³ My hand also has founded the earth, and My right hand has fixed the sky; I will call them, and they shall stand together.

¹⁰ And: "You, LORD, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands. ¹¹ They shall perish, but You continue; and they all shall grow old like a garment; ¹² and like a cloak You will roll them up, and they shall be changed. But You are the same, and Your years will not fail."

¹¹ Then I saw a great white throne and He who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled. And no place was found for them.
