⁸ He lifts up the poor from the earth, and raises the needy from the dunghill; to seat him with the princes of the people, and causing them to inherit the throne of glory;

⁴ Where were you when I founded the earth? Tell me now, if you have knowledge. ⁵ Who set the measures of it, if you know? Or who stretched a line upon it? ⁶ On what are its rings fastened? And who is He that laid the cornerstone upon it?

¹⁰ And the Lord prospered Job. And when he prayed also for his friends, He forgave them their sin: and the Lord gave Job twice as much, even double of what he had before. ¹¹ And all his brothers and sisters heard all that had happened to him, and they came to him, and so did all that had known him from the first; and they ate and drank with him, and comforted him, and wondered at all that the Lord had brought upon him: and each one gave him a lamb, and four drachmas of gold, even of unstamped gold. ¹² And the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than the beginning: and his livestock consisted of fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and one thousand female donkeys of the pastures.

⁴⁸ And the king promoted Daniel, and gave him great and abundant gifts, and set him over the whole province of Babylon, and made him chief satrap over all the wise men of Babylon.

¹⁷ The matter is by the decree of the watcher, and the demand is a word of the holy ones; that the living may known that the Lord is Most High over the kingdom of men, and He will give it to whomever He will, and sets it over the lowest of men.

³ And Daniel was over them, for there was an excellent spirit in him; and the king set him over all his kingdom.

⁵¹ He has shown strength with His arm; He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. ⁵² He has overthrown the mighty from their thrones, and exalted the lowly.

³ who being the effulgence of His glory and the exact expression of His substance, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

⁵ Listen, my beloved brothers. Did God not choose the poor of the world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those that love Him?

⁶ and He made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

²¹ He that overcomes, I will grant to him to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

¹⁰ and have made them kings and priests to our God; and they will reign on the earth."

⁵ And night shall not exist. and there shall not be a need of a lamp and of light, because the Lord God shall illuminate them. And they shall reign forever and ever.
