¹² Here is the patience of the saints, who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

⁷ I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith:

⁸ I know your works: behold, I have set before you an open door that no one is able to shut, because you have a little strength, and have kept my word, and have not denied my name.

¹⁰ Because you have kept the word of my patience, I also will keep you from the hour of trial that is about to come on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth.

¹⁷ And the dragon was angry with the woman, and went away to make war with the rest of her children, that keep the commandments of God, and that hold the testimony of Jesus.

¹⁰ If any one leads into captivity, he shall go into captivity. If any kills with the sword, he must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and faithfulness of the saints.
