¹⁶ If any one see his brother sinning a sin not to death, he shall ask, and he will give him life for those who sin not to death. There is a sin to death: I do not say concerning this, that he should ask.

³¹ Therefore I say to you, That every sin and impious speech shad be forgiven men: but the impious speech against the Spirit shall not be forgiven men. ³² And whoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whoever shall speak against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be for given him, either in the present age, or in that which is to come.

²⁸ Verily I say to you, All sins shall be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever impious speeches they may utter; ²⁹ but whoever will speak impiously against the Holy Spirit shall never have forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation. ³⁰ For they said: He has an unclean spirit.

¹⁰ And whoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him; but he that speaks impiously against the Holy Spirit, shall not be forgiven.

⁹ I pray for them; I pray not for the world, but for them whom thou hast given me; for they are thine.

¹⁴ Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord repay him according to his works.

⁴ For it is impossible to renew again to repentance those who have once been enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit, ⁵ and have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the coming age, ⁶ if they fall away; since they again crucify in themselves the Son of God, and put him to an open shame.

²⁶ For if we sin willfully, after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no longer a sacrifice for sins; ²⁷ but a certain fearful looking for of judgment, and a fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. ²⁸ He that despised Moses law, died without mercy, on the testimony of two or three witnesses: ²⁹ of how much severer punishment do you think he shall be thought worthy, who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant, with which he was sanctified, a common thing, and has done despite to the Spirit of grace? ³⁰ For we know him who has said, Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord. And again, The Lord will judge his people. ³¹ It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

¹⁴ Is any one among you sick? let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil, in the name of the Lord. ¹⁵ And the prayer of faith shall save the sick; and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

²⁰ For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world, through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in these, and overcome by them, the last state of such is worse than the first. ²¹ For it would be better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. ²² But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: The dog has turned again to his own vomit; and, The sow that was washed, to her wallowing in the mire.
