² And you shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother for glory and for beauty.

⁵ Now therefore, if you will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then you shall be a peculiar treasure to me above all people: for all the earth is mine: ⁶ And you shall be to me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel.

⁴⁰ And for Aaron's sons you shall make coats, and you shall make for them girdles, and bonnets shall you make for them, for glory and for beauty.

⁵ And you shall take the garments, and put on Aaron the coat, and the robe of the ephod, and the ephod, and the breastplate, and gird him with the curious girdle of the ephod: ⁶ And you shall put the turban on his head, and put the holy crown on the turban. ⁷ Then shall you take the anointing oil, and pour it on his head, and anoint him. ⁸ And you shall bring his sons, and put coats on them. ⁹ And you shall gird them with girdles, Aaron and his sons, and put the bonnets on them: and the priest's office shall be theirs for a perpetual statute: and you shall consecrate Aaron and his sons.

²⁹ And the holy garments of Aaron shall be his sons' after him, to be anointed therein, and to be consecrated in them. ³⁰ And that son that is priest in his stead shall put them on seven days, when he comes into the tabernacle of the congregation to minister in the holy place.

¹⁰ And the cloths of service, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest's office,

¹ And of the blue, and purple, and scarlet, they made cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, and made the holy garments for Aaron; as the LORD commanded Moses. ² And he made the ephod of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.

¹³ And you shall put on Aaron the holy garments, and anoint him, and sanctify him; that he may minister to me in the priest's office.

⁷ And he put on him the coat, and girded him with the girdle, and clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod on him, and he girded him with the curious girdle of the ephod, and bound it to him therewith. ⁸ And he put the breastplate on him: also he put in the breastplate the Urim and the Thummim. ⁹ And he put the turban on his head; also on the turban, even on his forefront, did he put the golden plate, the holy crown; as the LORD commanded Moses.

³⁰ And Moses took of the anointing oil, and of the blood which was on the altar, and sprinkled it on Aaron, and on his garments, and on his sons, and on his sons' garments with him; and sanctified Aaron, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons' garments with him.

²⁶ And strip Aaron of his garments, and put them on Eleazar his son: and Aaron shall be gathered to his people, and shall die there. ²⁷ And Moses did as the LORD commanded: and they went up into mount Hor in the sight of all the congregation. ²⁸ And Moses stripped Aaron of his garments, and put them on Eleazar his son; and Aaron died there in the top of the mount: and Moses and Eleazar came down from the mount.

²⁰ And you shall put some of your honor on him, that all the congregation of the children of Israel may be obedient. ²¹ And he shall stand before Eleazar the priest, who shall ask counsel for him after the judgment of Urim before the LORD: at his word shall they go out, and at his word they shall come in, both he, and all the children of Israel with him, even all the congregation.

¹⁰ Deck yourself now with majesty and excellency; and array yourself with glory and beauty.

¹⁶ Let your work appear to your servants, and your glory to their children. ¹⁷ And let the beauty of the LORD our God be on us: and establish you the work of our hands on us; yes, the work of our hands establish you it.

⁶ Honor and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

⁹ Let your priests be clothed with righteousness; and let your saints shout for joy.

¹⁶ I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.

⁴ For the LORD takes pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.

² In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.

³ To appoint to them that mourn in Zion, to give to them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

¹⁰ I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation, he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

⁶ But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

²³ Thus said the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: ²⁴ But let him that glories glory in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the LORD which exercise loving kindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, said the LORD.

³ Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel. ⁴ And he answered and spoke to those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And to him he said, Behold, I have caused your iniquity to pass from you, and I will clothe you with change of raiment.

¹⁴ And the Word was made flesh, and dwelled among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

²² Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ to all and on all them that believe: for there is no difference:

¹⁴ But put you on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof.

³⁰ But of him are you in Christ Jesus, who of God is made to us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: ³¹ That, according as it is written, He that glories, let him glory in the Lord.

²⁷ For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

⁹ But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

²⁶ For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

¹⁷ For he received from God the Father honor and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

² Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

¹⁰ And have made us to our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

⁸ And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
