³¹ Behold, the days come, says LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah,

⁵ Behold, the days come, says LORD, that I will raise to David a righteous Branch, and he shall reign as king and deal wisely, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land.

³ For, lo, the days come, says LORD, that I will turn again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, says LORD, and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.

²⁷ Behold, the days come, says LORD, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast.

³¹ Behold, the days come, says LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah, ³² not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, because they did not continue in my covenant, and I disregarded them, says LORD. ³³ But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says LORD: I will give my laws into their mind, and I will write them on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people. ³⁴ And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know LORD, for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says LORD. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

⁴⁰ And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from following them, to do them good. And I will put my fear in their hearts, that they may not depart from me.

¹⁴ Behold, the days come, says LORD, that I will perform that good word which I have spoken concerning the house of Israel and concerning the house of Judah. ¹⁵ In those days, and at that time, I will cause a Branch of righteousness to grow up to David, and he shall execute justice and righteousness in the land. ¹⁶ In those days Judah shall be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely. And this is the name whereby she shall be called: LORD our righteousness.

⁴ In those days, and in that time, says LORD, the sons of Israel shall come, they and the sons of Judah together. They shall go on their way weeping, and shall seek LORD their God. ⁵ They shall inquire concerning Zion with their faces toward it, saying, Come ye, and join yourselves to LORD in an everlasting covenant that shall not be forgotten.

²⁶ Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them. It shall be an everlasting covenant with them, and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.

¹³ Behold, the days come, says LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him who sows seed, and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.

²⁸ for this is my blood of the new covenant, which is shed on behalf of many for remission of sins.

²⁴ And he said to them, This is my blood of the new covenant, which is poured out for many.

²⁰ Likewise also the cup after dining, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood being shed for you.

²⁵ Likewise also the cup after the supper, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood. This do, as often as ye drink it, for my memorial.

⁶ who also made us qualified helpers of a new covenant, not of a document, but of a Spirit, for the document kills but the Spirit makes alive.

¹⁶ And as many as will march by this standard, peace upon them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.

³ For we are the circumcision, men who worship in spirit to God, and who boast in Christ Jesus, and not being confident in flesh.

⁶ But now he has obtained a superior ministry, by so much as he is also the mediator of a superior covenant, which has been enacted upon superior promises. ⁷ For if that first one was faultless, no place would have been sought for a second. ⁸ For, finding fault with them, he says, Behold, the days come, says the Lord, and I will perfect a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. ⁹ Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by my hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt. Because they did not continue in my covenant, and I disregarded them, says the Lord. ¹⁰ Because this is the covenant that I will ordain with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord, giving my laws into their mind, and I will write them on their hearts. And I will be to them for a God, and they will be to me for a people. ¹¹ And they will, no, not teach each man his fellow citizen, and each man his brother, saying, Know the Lord, because all will know me, from their small as far as their great. ¹² Because I will be merciful to their iniquities, and their sins and their lawlessness I will no, not further remember. ¹³ In saying, New, he has made the first old. And what is becoming old and obsolete is near disappearance.

¹⁵ And because of this he is mediator of a new covenant, so that a death having occurred for the redemption of the transgressions against the first covenant, those who are called might take the promise of the eternal inheritance.

¹⁶ This is the covenant that I will ordain with them after those days, says the Lord, giving my laws on their hearts, and on their minds I will write them, ¹⁷ and, Their sins and their lawlessness I will, no, not further remember.

²⁴ and to Jesus a mediator of a new covenant, and to blood of sprinkling that speaks better than Abel.

²⁰ Now the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep by the blood of an eternal covenant-our Lord Jesus-
