²⁰ And God said, Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

⁷ And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament. And it was so.

¹⁴ And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of heaven to divide the day from the night, and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days and years.

²² And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.

³⁰ and to every beast of the earth, and to every bird of the heavens, and to everything that creeps upon the earth in which there is life, for food-every green herb. And it was so.

¹⁹ And out of the ground LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every bird of the heavens, and brought them to the man to see what he would call them, and whatever the man called every living creature, that was the name of it.

¹⁷ Bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee of all flesh, both birds and cattle, and every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth, that they may breed abundantly on the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth.

³³ And he spoke of trees, from the cedar that is in Lebanon even to the hyssop that springs out of the wall. He spoke also of beasts, and of birds, and of creeping things, and of fishes.

²⁴ O LORD, how manifold are thy works! In wisdom have thou made them all. The earth is full of thy riches. ²⁵ Yonder is the sea, great and wide, in which are innumerable creeping things, both small and great beasts.

¹⁰ beasts and all cattle, creeping things and flying birds,

²¹ For there is a man whose labor is with wisdom, and with knowledge, and with skillfulness, yet he shall leave it to a man who has not labored in it for his portion. This also is vanity and a great evil.

²⁵ nor is he served by the hands of men, as needing anything, since he himself gives to all life, and breath, with all things.
