6 one God and Father of all, who is over all, and through all, and in you all;
7 and to every one of us there hath been granted in due measure the favour of the free gift of the Christ.
8 Therefore it is said, "Having ascended on high, he hath led captivity captive, and "he hath given gifts to men."
9 Now this expression, "He ascended" what doth it infer, but that he had first descended into the lower parts of the earth?
10 He who descended is the same who ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all;
