Romans 7:7-11

Sawyer(i) 7 (5:2) What shall we say then? Is the law sin? By no means. On the contrary I knew not sin except through the law; for I had not known inordinate desire, unless the law had said, You shall not desire inordinately. 8 But Sin having taken occasion through the commandment wrought in me every inordinate desire; for without the law sin was dead. 9 (5:3) And I was alive without the law once, but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died, 10 and the commandment which was for life was found to be for death. 11 For sin having taken occasion through the commandment deceived me, and through it killed me.
