Hebrews 12:18-25

Noyes(i) 18 For ye have not come to a mount that can be touched, and burning with fire, and to blackness, and darkness, and tempest, 19 and the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words, which voice they who heard, entreated that no more should be spoken to them; 20 for they could not bear that which was commanded, "If even a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned;" and, 21 so terrible was the sight, Moses said: "I exceedingly fear and tremble;" 22 but ye have come to Mount Zion, and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem; and to myriads, the general assembly of angels; 23 and to the church of the firstborn, who are enrolled in heaven; and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of righteous men made perfect; 24 and to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant; and to a sprinkling with that blood which speaketh something better than Abel. 25 See that ye refuse not him who speaketh. For if they did not escape, who refused him who spoke his will on earth, much more shall not we, if we turn away from him who speaketh from heaven;
