The lenght was thre skore cubytes after the olde cubyte, and the bredeth .xx. ⁴ And the porche at the end was as large as the house bredeth .xx. cubytes: and the heyght was an hundred & .xx. cubites. And he ouerlayd it on the ynner syde wt pure gold. ⁵ And the great house he syled with fyrre tre, & ouerlayde it with good goulde, and graued therto paulmetrees and cheynes. ⁶ And he paued the house with preciouse stone goodlye. And it was goulde of Pharuaim. ⁷ And he ouerlayde the house: bothe beames, postes, walles & dores with goulde, & graued Cherubes vpon the walles. ⁸ And he made the house moost holy, whose length was .xx. cubytes lyke to the breadeth of the house, and the breadeth thereof was also .xx. cubytes. And he ouerlayde it with the best goulde, that drue to the summe of .vi. hundred talentes. ⁹ And the wayghte of the nayles of goulde was therto fyftye sycles. And he ouerlayde the vpper chambres wyth goulde. ¹⁰ And he made in the house moost holy two Cherubes of Image worke, & ouerlayd them with goulde. ¹¹ And the wynges of the Cherubes were .xx. cubytes longe. The one wynge was fyue cubytes, and touched the wall of the house, and the other wynge was lykewyse .v. cubytes, & touched the wyng of the other Cherub. ¹² And the one wynge of the other Cherub was fyue cubytes, and touched the wal of the house, and the other wynge was fyue cubites also, and raught to the wing of the other Cherub. ¹³ So that the wynges of the sayde Cherubes raughte .xx. cubytes. And they stode on theyr fete, & loked inwardes. ¹⁴ And he made a fore hangynge of Iacincte coloure, of scarlet, cremosyne & bysse: & caused Cherubes to be bourdered thereon. ¹⁵ And he made before the house two pyllers of .xxxv. cubytes long. And the heade that was aboue on the toppe of one of them was fyue cubytes. ¹⁶ And he made such chaynes as was in the quere, & put them on the heades of the pyllers, & made an hundred pomegranates, & put them on the chaines. ¹⁷ And he rered vp the pyllers before the temple, one on the ryghte hand, and another on the left, & called the ryght Iachin & the lefte Boaz.
