Lamsa⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹ MASTERS, do to your servants that which is just and fair; knowing that you also have a Master in heaven. ² Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving; ³ And pray for us also, that God may open unto us a door for preaching, to speak the mystery of Christ for whose sake I am a prisoner: ⁴ So that I may make it manifest and speak about it as I should. ⁵ Live wisely in peace with those who are outside the church, and avoid offending. ⁶ Let your conversation be gracious, seasoned with salt, and you should know how to answer every man. ⁷ All things concerning me will be made known to you by TychÆi-cus, who is a beloved brother, and a faithful minister and fellowservant in the LORD: ⁸ Whom I send to you for this very purpose, that he may know the state of your affairs, and comfort your hearts; ⁹ Together with O-nesÆi-mus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They shall make known to you all the things which have happened to us. ¹⁰ Ar-is-tarÆchus, my fellow-prisoner, salutes you, together with Mark, cousin to Barnabas, concerning whom you have been instructed: and if he comes, receive him; ¹¹ And Jesus, who is called Justus. These are of the circumcision, and the only ones who have helped me toward the Kingdom of God; and have been a comfort to me. ¹² EpÆa-phras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, salutes you: always labouring for you in prayer, that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God. ¹³ For I can testify concerning him, that he has a great zeal for you, and for those who are in La-od-i-ceÆa and Hi-e-rapÆo-lis. ¹⁴ Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas, greet you. ¹⁵ Salute the brethren in La-od-i-ceÆa, and salute Nym-phas and his family and the congregation that meets at his house. ¹⁶ And when this epistle has been read to you, see that it is read also in the church of the La-od-i-ceÆans; and likewise you read the epistle written from La-od-i-ceÆa. ¹⁷ And say to Ar-chipÆpus, Take heed to the ministry which you have received in our LORD and that you fulfill it. ¹⁸ This salutation is by the hand of me, Paul. Remember my imprisonment. Grace be with you. Amen.
