Nehemiah 9:18-25

LITV(i) 18 Yea, when they had made a casted calf for themselves, and said, This is your god who brought you up out of Egypt, and had worked great blasphemies, 19 Yet You in Your great mercies did not forsake them in the wilderness. The pillar of cloud did not depart from them by day to lead them in the way, nor the pillar of fire by night, to show them light, and the way in which they should go. 20 You also gave Your good Spirit to teach them, and did not withhold Your manna from their mouth, and gave them water for their thirst. 21 Yea, forty years You sustained them in the wilderness. They lacked nothing; their clothes did not wear out, and their feet did not swell. 22 And You gave them kingdoms and peoples, and divided them to corners. And they possessed the land of Sihon, and the land of the king of Heshbon, and the land of Og king of Bashan. 23 You also multiplied their sons like the stars of the heavens and brought them into the land which You had promised to their fathers, that they should go in and possess it. 24 And the sons went in and possessed the land, and You humbled the people of the land before them, the Canaanites. And You gave them into their hands, with their kings and the people of the land to do with them as they desired. 25 And they took strong cities and a rich land, and occupied houses full of all goods, wells already dug, vineyards and oliveyards and fruit trees in abundance. And they ate, and were filled, and became fat, and lived luxuriously in Your great goodness.
