Revelation 9:3-10 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth : and unto them was given power , as the scorpions of the earth have power.

4 G2532 And G4483 it was commanded [G5681] G846 them G3363 that G91 they should G3363 not G91 hurt [G5661] G5528 the grass G1093 of the earth G3761 , neither G3956 any G5515 green thing G3761 , neither G3956 any G1186 tree G1508 ; but G3441 only G444 those men G3748 which G2192 have [G5719] G3756 not G4973 the seal G2316 of God G1909 in G846 their G3359 foreheads.

5 G2532 And G846 to them G1325 it was given [G5681] G3363 that G615 they should G3363 not G615 kill [G5725] G846 them G235 , but G2443 that G928 they should be tormented [G5686] G4002 five G3376 months G2532 : and G846 their G929 torment G5613 was as G929 the torment G4651 of a scorpion G3752 , when G3817 he striketh [G5661] G444 a man.

8 G2532 And G2192 they had [G5707] G2359 hair G5613 as G2359 the hair G1135 of women G2532 , and G846 their G3599 teeth G2258 were [G5713] G5613 as G3023 the teeth of lions.

9 G2532 And G2192 they had [G5707] G2382 breastplates G5613 , as it were G2382 breastplates G4603 of iron G2532 ; and G5456 the sound G846 of their G4420 wings G5613 was as G5456 the sound G716 of chariots G4183 of many G2462 horses G5143 running [G5723] G1519 to G4171 battle.

10 G2532 And G2192 they had [G5719] G3769 tails G3664 like G4651 unto scorpions G2532 , and G2258 there were [G5713] G2759 stings G1722 in G846 their G3769 tails G2532 : and G846 their G1849 power G91 was to hurt [G5658] G444 men G4002 five G3376 months.
