Luke 16 And he said also unto his disciples , There was a certain rich man , which had a steward ; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods .

3 G1161 Then G3623 the steward G2036 said [G5627] G1722 within G1438 himself G5101 , What G4160 shall I do [G5661] G3754 ? for G3450 my G2962 lord G851 taketh away [G5731] G575 from G1700 me G3622 the stewardship G3756 : I cannot G2480 [G5719] G4626 dig [G5721] G1871 ; to beg [G5721] G153 I am ashamed [G5727] .

4 G1097 I am resolved [G5627] G5101 what G4160 to do [G5692] G2443 , that G3752 , when G3179 I am put out [G5686] G3622 of the stewardship G1209 , they may receive [G5667] G3165 me G1519 into G846 their G3624 houses.

5 G2532 So G4341 he called [G5666] G1538 every G1520 one G1438 of his G2962 lord's G5533 debtors G3004 unto him, and said [G5707] G4413 unto the first G4214 , How much G3784 owest thou [G5719] G3450 unto my G2962 lord?

6 G1161 And G2036 he said [G5627] G1540 , An hundred G943 measures G1637 of oil G2532 . And G2036 he said [G5627] G846 unto him G1209 , Take [G5663] G4675 thy G1121 bill G2532 , and G2523 sit down [G5660] G5030 quickly G1125 , and write [G5657] G4004 fifty.

8 G2532 And G2962 the lord G1867 commended [G5656] G93 the unjust G3623 steward G3754 , because G4160 he had done [G5656] G5430 wisely G3754 : for G5207 the children G5127 of this G165 world G1526 are [G5748] G1519 in G1438 their G1074 generation G5429 wiser G5228 than G5207 the children G5457 of light.

9 G2504 And I G3004 say [G5719] G5213 unto you G4160 , Make [G5657] G1438 to yourselves G5384 friends G1537 of G3126 the mammon G93 of unrighteousness G2443 ; that G3752 , when G1587 ye fail [G5632] G1209 , they may receive [G5667] G5209 you G1519 into G166 everlasting G4633 habitations.

10 G4103 He that is faithful G1722 in G1646 that which is least G2076 is [G5748] G4103 faithful G2532 also G1722 in G4183 much G2532 : and G94 he that is unjust G1722 in G1646 the least G2076 is [G5748] G94 unjust G2532 also G1722 in G4183 much.

11 G1487 If G3767 therefore G1096 ye have G3756 not G1096 been [G5633] G4103 faithful G1722 in G94 the unrighteous G3126 mammon G5101 , who G4100 will commit G5213 to your G4100 trust [G5692] G228 the true riches ?

12 G2532 And G1487 if G1096 ye have G3756 not G1096 been [G5633] G4103 faithful G1722 in G245 that which is another man's G5101 , who G1325 shall give [G5692] G5213 you G5212 that which is your own?

29 G11 Abraham G3004 saith [G5719] G846 unto him G2192 , They have [G5719] G3475 Moses G2532 and G4396 the prophets G191 ; let them hear [G5657] G846 them.

30 G1161 And G2036 he said [G5627] G3780 , Nay G3962 , father G11 Abraham G235 : but G1437 if G5100 one G4198 went [G5680] G4314 unto G846 them G575 from G3498 the dead G3340 , they will repent [G5692] .

31 G1161 And G2036 he said [G5627] G846 unto him G1487 , If G191 they hear [G5719] G3756 not G3475 Moses G2532 and G4396 the prophets G3761 , neither G3982 will they be persuaded [G5701] G1437 , though G5100 one G450 rose [G5632] G1537 from G3498 the dead.
