Ezekiel 28 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying ,

2 H1121 Son H120 of man H559 , say [H8798] H5057 unto the prince H6865 of Tyrus H559 , Thus saith [H8804] H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H3820 ; Because thine heart H1361 is lifted up [H8804] H559 , and thou hast said [H8799] H410 , I am a God H3427 , I sit [H8804] H4186 in the seat H430 of God H3820 , in the midst H3220 of the seas H120 ; yet thou art a man H410 , and not God H5414 , though thou set [H8799] H3820 thine heart H3820 as the heart H430 of God:

3 H2450 Behold, thou art wiser H1840 than Daniel H5640 ; there is no secret [H8803] H6004 that they can hide [H8804] from thee:

4 H2451 With thy wisdom H8394 and with thine understanding H6213 thou hast gotten [H8804] H2428 thee riches H6213 , and hast gotten [H8799] H2091 gold H3701 and silver H214 into thy treasures:

5 H7230 By thy great H2451 wisdom H7404 and by thy traffick H7235 hast thou increased [H8689] H2428 thy riches H3824 , and thine heart H1361 is lifted up [H8799] H2428 because of thy riches:

6 H559 Therefore thus saith [H8804] H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H5414 ; Because thou hast set [H8800] H3820 thine heart H3824 as the heart H430 of God;

7 H935 Behold, therefore I will bring [H8688] H2114 strangers [H8801] H6184 upon thee, the terrible H1471 of the nations H7324 : and they shall draw [H8689] H2719 their swords H3308 against the beauty H2451 of thy wisdom H2490 , and they shall defile [H8765] H3314 thy brightness.

8 H3381 They shall bring thee down [H8686] H7845 to the pit H4191 , and thou shalt die [H8804] H4463 the deaths H2491 of them that are slain H3820 in the midst H3220 of the seas.

9 H559 Wilt thou yet [H8800] H559 say [H8799] H6440 before H2026 him that slayeth [H8802] H430 thee, I am God H120 ? but thou shalt be a man H410 , and no God H3027 , in the hand H2490 of him that slayeth [H8764] thee.

10 H4191 Thou shalt die [H8799] H4194 the deaths H6189 of the uncircumcised H3027 by the hand H2114 of strangers [H8801] H1696 : for I have spoken [H8765] H5002 it, saith [H8803] H136 the Lord H3069 GOD.

11 H1697 Moreover the word H3068 of the LORD H559 came unto me, saying [H8800] ,

12 H1121 Son H120 of man H5375 , take up [H8798] H7015 a lamentation H4428 upon the king H6865 of Tyrus H559 , and say [H8804] H559 unto him, Thus saith [H8804] H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H2856 ; Thou sealest up [H8802] H8508 the sum H4392 , full H2451 of wisdom H3632 , and perfect H3308 in beauty.

13 H5731 Thou hast been in Eden H1588 the garden H430 of God H3368 ; every precious H68 stone H4540 was thy covering H124 , the sardius H6357 , topaz H3095 , and the diamond H8658 , the beryl H7718 , the onyx H3471 , and the jasper H5601 , the sapphire H5306 , the emerald H1304 , and the carbuncle H2091 , and gold H4399 : the workmanship H8596 of thy tabrets H5345 and of thy pipes H3559 was prepared [H8797] H3117 in thee in the day H1254 that thou wast created [H8736] .

14 H4473 Thou art the anointed H3742 cherub H5526 that covereth [H8802] H5414 ; and I have set [H8804] H6944 thee so : thou wast upon the holy H2022 mountain H430 of God H1980 ; thou hast walked up and down [H8694] H8432 in the midst H68 of the stones H784 of fire.

15 H8549 Thou wast perfect H1870 in thy ways H3117 from the day H1254 that thou wast created [H8736] H5766 , till iniquity H4672 was found [H8738] in thee.

16 H7230 By the multitude H7404 of thy merchandise H4390 they have filled [H8804] H8432 the midst H2555 of thee with violence H2398 , and thou hast sinned [H8799] H2490 : therefore I will cast thee as profane [H8762] H2022 out of the mountain H430 of God H6 : and I will destroy [H8762] H5526 thee, O covering [H8802] H3742 cherub H8432 , from the midst H68 of the stones H784 of fire.

17 H3820 Thine heart H1361 was lifted up [H8804] H3308 because of thy beauty H7843 , thou hast corrupted [H8765] H2451 thy wisdom H5921 by reason of H3314 thy brightness H7993 : I will cast [H8689] H776 thee to the ground H5414 , I will lay [H8804] H6440 thee before H4428 kings H7200 , that they may behold [H8800] thee.

18 H2490 Thou hast defiled [H8765] H4720 thy sanctuaries H7230 by the multitude H5771 of thine iniquities H5766 , by the iniquity H7404 of thy traffick H3318 ; therefore will I bring forth [H8686] H784 a fire H8432 from the midst H398 of thee, it shall devour [H8804] H5414 thee, and I will bring [H8799] H665 thee to ashes H776 upon the earth H5869 in the sight H7200 of all them that behold [H8802] thee.

19 H3045 All they that know [H8802] H5971 thee among the people H8074 shall be astonished [H8804] H1091 at thee: thou shalt be a terror H369 , and never H5704 shalt thou be any more H5769 .

20 H1697 Again the word H3068 of the LORD H559 came unto me, saying [H8800] ,

21 H1121 Son H120 of man H7760 , set [H8798] H6440 thy face H6721 against Zidon H5012 , and prophesy [H8734] against it,

22 H559 And say [H8804] H559 , Thus saith [H8804] H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H6721 ; Behold, I am against thee, O Zidon H3513 ; and I will be glorified [H8738] H8432 in the midst H3045 of thee: and they shall know [H8804] H3068 that I am the LORD H6213 , when I shall have executed [H8800] H8201 judgments H6942 in her, and shall be sanctified [H8738] in her.

23 H7971 For I will send [H8765] H1698 into her pestilence H1818 , and blood H2351 into her streets H2491 ; and the wounded H5307 shall be judged [H8768] H8432 in the midst H2719 of her by the sword H5439 upon her on every side H3045 ; and they shall know [H8804] H3068 that I am the LORD.

24 H3992 And there shall be no more a pricking [H8688] H5544 brier H1004 unto the house H3478 of Israel H3510 , nor any grieving [H8688] H6975 thorn H5439 of all that are round about H7590 them, that despised [H8801] H3045 them; and they shall know [H8804] H136 that I am the Lord H3069 GOD.

25 H559 Thus saith [H8804] H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H6908 ; When I shall have gathered [H8763] H1004 the house H3478 of Israel H5971 from the people H6327 among whom they are scattered [H8738] H6942 , and shall be sanctified [H8738] H5869 in them in the sight H1471 of the heathen H3427 , then shall they dwell [H8804] H127 in their land H5414 that I have given [H8804] H5650 to my servant H3290 Jacob.

26 H3427 And they shall dwell [H8804] H983 safely H1129 therein, and shall build [H8804] H1004 houses H5193 , and plant [H8804] H3754 vineyards H3427 ; yea, they shall dwell [H8804] H983 with confidence H6213 , when I have executed [H8800] H8201 judgments H7590 upon all those that despise [H8801] H5439 them round about H3045 them; and they shall know [H8804] H3068 that I am the LORD H430 their God.
