Numbers 20:10-12 And Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation together before the rock , and he said unto them, Hear now, ye rebels ; must we fetch you water out of this rock?

11 H4872 And Moses H7311 lifted up [H8686] H3027 his hand H4294 , and with his rod H5221 he smote [H8686] H5553 the rock H6471 twice H4325 : and the water H3318 came out [H8799] H7227 abundantly H5712 , and the congregation H8354 drank [H8799] H1165 , and their beasts also .

12 H3068 And the LORD H559 spake [H8799] H4872 unto Moses H175 and Aaron H539 , Because ye believed [H8689] H6942 me not, to sanctify [H8687] H5869 me in the eyes H1121 of the children H3478 of Israel H935 , therefore ye shall not bring [H8686] H6951 this congregation H776 into the land H5414 which I have given [H8804] them.

ERV⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹⁰ And Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly together before the rock, and he said unto them, Hear now, ye rebels; shall we bring you forth water out of this rock? ¹¹ And Moses lifted up his hand, and smote the rock with his rod twice: and water came forth abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their cattle. ¹² And the LORD said unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed not in me, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.
