Exodus 2:2-10 And the woman conceived , and bare a son : and when she saw him that he was a goodly child, she hid him three months.

5 H1323 And the daughter H6547 of Pharaoh H3381 came down [H8799] H7364 to wash [H8800] H2975 herself at the river H5291 ; and her maidens H1980 walked [H8802] H2975 along by the river's H3027 side H7200 ; and when she saw [H8799] H8392 the ark H8432 among H5488 the flags H7971 , she sent [H8799] H519 her maid H3947 to fetch [H8799] it.

6 H6605 And when she had opened [H8799] H7200 it, she saw [H8799] H3206 the child H5288 : and, behold, the babe H1058 wept [H8802] H2550 . And she had compassion [H8799] H559 on him, and said [H8799] H5680 , This is one of the Hebrews H3206 ' children.

7 H559 Then said [H8799] H269 his sister H6547 to Pharaoh's H1323 daughter H3212 , Shall I go [H8799] H7121 and call [H8804] H3243 to thee a nurse [H8688] H5680 of the Hebrew H802 women H3243 , that she may nurse [H8686] H3206 the child for thee?

8 H6547 And Pharaoh's H1323 daughter H559 said [H8799] H3212 to her, Go [H8798] H5959 . And the maid H3212 went [H8799] H7121 and called [H8799] H3206 the child's H517 mother.

9 H6547 And Pharaoh's H1323 daughter H559 said [H8799] H3212 unto her, Take H3206 this child H3212 away [H8685] H3243 , and nurse [H8685] H5414 it for me, and I will give [H8799] H7939 thee thy wages H802 . And the woman H3947 took [H8799] H3206 the child H5134 , and nursed [H8686] it.

10 H3206 And the child H1431 grew [H8799] H935 , and she brought [H8686] H6547 him unto Pharaoh's H1323 daughter H1121 , and he became her son H7121 . And she called [H8799] H8034 his name H4872 Moses H559 : and she said [H8799] H4871 , Because I drew [H8804] H4325 him out of the water.

And she had compassion on him, and said, This is one of the Hebrews’ children. ⁷ Then said his sister to Pharaoh’s daughter, Shall I go and call thee a nurse of the Hebrew women, that she may nurse the child for thee? ⁸ And Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, Go. And the maid went and called the child’s mother. ⁹ And Pharaoh’s daughter said unto her, Take this child away, and nurse it for me, and I will give thee thy wages. And the woman took the child, and nursed it. ¹⁰ And the child grew, and she brought him unto Pharaoh’s daughter, and he became her son. And she called his name Moses, and said, Because I drew him out of the water.
