16 H7136 ויקר met H3068 יהוה And the LORD H413 אל met H1109 בלעם Balaam, H7760 וישׂם and put H1697 דבר a word H6310 בפיו in his mouth, H559 ויאמר and said, H7725 שׁוב Go again H413 אל unto H1111 בלק Balak, H3541 וכה thus. H1696 תדבר׃ and say

17 H935 ויבא And when he came H413 אליו to H2009 והנו him, behold, H5324 נצב he stood H5921 על by H5930 עלתו his burnt offering, H8269 ושׂרי and the princes H4124 מואב of Moab H854 אתו with H559 ויאמר said H1111 לו בלק him. And Balak H4100 מה unto him, What H1696 דבר spoken? H3068 יהוה׃ hath the LORD

18 H5375 וישׂא And he took up H4912 משׁלו his parable, H559 ויאמר and said, H6965 קום Rise up, H1111 בלק Balak, H8085 ושׁמע and hear; H238 האזינה hearken H5704 עדי unto H1121 בנו me, thou son H6834 צפר׃ of Zippor:

19 H3808 לא not H376 אישׁ a man, H410 אל God H3576 ויכזב that he should lie; H1121 ובן neither the son H120 אדם of man, H5162 ויתנחם that he should repent: H1931 ההוא hath he H559 אמר said, H3808 ולא and shall he not H6213 יעשׂה do H1696 ודבר or hath he spoken, H3808 ולא and shall he not H6965 יקימנה׃ make it good?

20 H2009 הנה Behold, H1288 ברך to bless: H3947 לקחתי I have received H1288 וברך and he hath blessed; H3808 ולא and I cannot H7725 אשׁיבנה׃ reverse

21 H3808 לא He hath not H5027 הביט beheld H205 און iniquity H3290 ביעקב in Jacob, H3808 ולא neither H7200 ראה hath he seen H5999 עמל perverseness H3478 בישׂראל in Israel: H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיו his God H5973 עמו with H8643 ותרועת him, and the shout H4428 מלך׃ of a king

22 H410 אל God H3318 מוציאם brought them out H4714 ממצרים H8443 כתועפת he hath as it were the strength H7214 ראם׃ of a unicorn.

23 H3588 כי Surely H3808 לא no H5173 נחשׁ enchantment H3290 ביעקב against Jacob, H3808 ולא neither H7081 קסם any divination H3478 בישׂראל against Israel: H6256 כעת according to this time H559 יאמר it shall be said H3290 ליעקב of Jacob H3478 ולישׂראל and of Israel, H4100 מה What H6466 פעל wrought! H410 אל׃ hath God

24 H2005 הן Behold, H5971 עם the people H3833 כלביא as a great lion, H6965 יקום shall rise up H738 וכארי as a young lion: H5375 יתנשׂא and lift up himself H3808 לא he shall not H7901 ישׁכב lie down H5704 עד until H398 יאכל he eat H2964 טרף the prey, H1818 ודם the blood H2491 חללים of the slain. H8354 ישׁתה׃ and drink

25 H559 ויאמר said H1111 בלק And Balak H413 אל unto H1109 בלעם Balaam, H1571 גם nor H6895 קב curse them at all, H3808 לא nor H5344 תקבנו H1571 גם H1288 ברך bless them at all. H3808 לא H1288 תברכנו׃ bless them at all.

26 H6030 ויען answered H1109 בלעם But Balaam H559 ויאמר and said H413 אל unto H1111 בלק Balak, H3808 הלא not H1696 דברתי speaketh, H413 אליך H559 לאמר I thee, saying, H3605 כל All H834 אשׁר that H1696 ידבר H3068 יהוה the LORD H853 אתו H6213 אעשׂה׃ that I must do?
