36 H559 ותאמר And she said H413 אליו unto H1 אבי him, My father, H6475 פציתה thou hast opened H853 את H6310 פיך thy mouth H413 אל unto H3068 יהוה the LORD, H6213 עשׂה do H834 לי כאשׁר to me according to that which H3318 יצא hath proceeded out H6310 מפיך of thy mouth; H310 אחרי forasmuch H834 אשׁר forasmuch H6213 עשׂה hath taken H3068 לך יהוה as the LORD H5360 נקמות vengeance H341 מאיביך for thee of thine enemies, H1121 מבני of the children H5983 עמון׃ of Ammon.

37 H559 ותאמר And she said H413 אל unto H1 אביה her father, H6213 יעשׂה be done H1697 לי הדבר thing H2088 הזה Let this H7503 הרפה for me: let me alone H4480 ממני for me: let me alone H8147 שׁנים two H2320 חדשׁים months, H1980 ואלכה that I may go up H3381 וירדתי and down H5921 על upon H2022 ההרים the mountains, H1058 ואבכה and bewail H5921 על and bewail H1331 בתולי my virginity, H595 אנכי I H7474 ורעיתי׃

38 H559 ויאמר And he said, H1980 לכי Go. H7971 וישׁלח H853 אותה H8147 שׁני two H2320 חדשׁים months: H1980 ותלך went H1931 היא and she H7464 ורעותיה with her companions, H1058 ותבך and bewailed H5921 על and bewailed H1331 בתוליה her virginity H5921 על upon H2022 ההרים׃ the mountains.
