Joshua 14:6-14 ויגשׁו came בני Then the children יהודה of Judah אל unto יהושׁע Joshua בגלגל in Gilgal: ויאמר said אליו unto כלב and Caleb בן the son יפנה of Jephunneh הקנזי the Kenezite אתה him, Thou ידעת knowest את הדבר the thing אשׁר that דבר said יהוה אל unto משׁה Moses אישׁ the man האלהים of God על concerning אדותי concerning ועל אדותיך בקדשׁ ברנע׃ me and thee in Kadesh-barnea.

7 H1121 בן old H705 ארבעים Forty H8141 שׁנה years H595 אנכי I H7971 בשׁלח sent H4872 משׁה when Moses H5650 עבד the servant H3068 יהוה of the LORD H853 אתי H6947 מקדשׁ ברנע H7270 לרגל to espy out H853 את H776 הארץ the land; H7725 ואשׁב and I brought H853 אתו H1697 דבר him word H834 כאשׁר again as H5973 עם in H3824 לבבי׃ mine heart.

8 H251 ואחי Nevertheless my brethren H834 אשׁר that H5927 עלו went up H5973 עמי with H4529 המסיו melt: H853 את H3820 לב me made the heart H5971 העם of the people H595 ואנכי but I H4390 מלאתי wholly H310 אחרי followed H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהי׃ my God.

9 H7650 וישׁבע swore H4872 משׁה And Moses H3117 ביום day, H1931 ההוא on that H559 לאמר saying, H518 אם H3808 לא H776 הארץ the land H834 אשׁר whereon H1869 דרכה have trodden H7272 רגלך thy feet H1961 בה לך תהיה shall be H5159 לנחלה thine inheritance, H1121 ולבניך and thy children's H5704 עד forever, H5769 עולם forever, H3588 כי because H4390 מלאת thou hast wholly H310 אחרי followed H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהי׃ my God.

10 H6258 ועתה And now, H2009 הנה behold, H2421 החיה H3068 יהוה the LORD H853 אותי H834 כאשׁר as H1696 דבר he said, H2088 זה these H705 ארבעים forty H2568 וחמשׁ and five H8141 שׁנה years, H227 מאז even since H1696 דבר spoke H3068 יהוה the LORD H853 את H1697 הדבר word H2088 הזה this H413 אל unto H4872 משׁה Moses, H834 אשׁר while H1980 הלך wandered H3478 ישׂראל Israel H4057 במדבר in the wilderness: H6258 ועתה and now, H2009 הנה lo, H595 אנכי I H3117 היום this day H1121 בן old. H2568 חמשׁ and five H8084 ושׁמונים fourscore H8141 שׁנה׃ years

11 H5750 עודני As yet H3117 היום this day H2389 חזק I strong H834 כאשׁר as H3117 ביום in the day H7971 שׁלח sent H853 אותי H4872 משׁה that Moses H3581 ככחי me: as my strength H227 אז then, H3581 וככחי even so my strength H6258 עתה now, H4421 למלחמה for war, H3318 ולצאת both to go out, H935 ולבוא׃ and to come in.

12 H6258 ועתה Now H5414 תנה therefore give H853 לי את H2022 ההר mountain, H2088 הזה me this H834 אשׁר whereof H1696 דבר spoke H3068 יהוה the LORD H3117 ביום day; H1931 ההוא in that H3588 כי for H859 אתה thou H8085 שׁמעת heardest H3117 ביום day H1931 ההוא in that H3588 כי how H6062 ענקים the Anakims H8033 שׁם there, H5892 וערים and the cities H1419 גדלות great H1219 בצרות fenced: H194 אולי if H3068 יהוה so be the LORD H854 אותי with H3423 והורשׁתים me, then I shall be able to drive them out, H834 כאשׁר as H1696 דבר said. H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD

13 H1288 ויברכהו blessed H3091 יהושׁע And Joshua H5414 ויתן him, and gave H853 את H2275 חברון Hebron H3612 לכלב unto Caleb H1121 בן the son H3312 יפנה of Jephunneh H5159 לנחלה׃ for an inheritance.

14 H5921 על therefore H3651 כן therefore H1961 היתה became H2275 חברון Hebron H3612 לכלב of Caleb H1121 בן the son H3312 יפנה of Jephunneh H7074 הקנזי the Kenezite H5159 לנחלה the inheritance H5704 עד unto H3117 היום day, H2088 הזה this H3282 יען because H834 אשׁר that H4390 מלא he wholly H310 אחרי followed H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהי God H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.
