Jeremiah 44:15-18

  15 H6030 ויענו answered H853 את   H3414 ירמיהו Jeremiah, H3605 כל Then all H376 האנשׁים the men H3045 הידעים which knew H3588 כי that H6999 מקטרות had burned incense H802 נשׁיהם their wives H430 לאלהים gods, H312 אחרים unto other H3605 וכל and all H802 הנשׁים the women H5975 העמדות that stood by, H6951 קהל multitude, H1419 גדול a great H3605 וכל even all H5971 העם the people H3427 הישׁבים that dwelt H776 בארץ in the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H6624 בפתרוס in Pathros, H559 לאמר׃ saying,

  16 H1697 הדבר the word H834 אשׁר that H1696 דברת thou hast spoken H413 אלינו unto H8034 בשׁם us in the name H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H369 איננו we will not H8085 שׁמעים hearken H413 אליך׃ unto

  17 H3588 כי But H6213 עשׂה we will certainly do H6213 נעשׂה we will certainly do H853 את   H3605 כל whatsoever H1697 הדבר thing H834 אשׁר whatsoever H3318 יצא goeth forth H6310 מפינו out of our own mouth, H6999 לקטר to burn incense H4446 למלכת unto the queen H8064 השׁמים of heaven, H5258 והסיך and to pour out H5262 לה נסכים drink offerings H834 כאשׁר unto her, as H6213 עשׂינו we have done, H587 אנחנו we, H1 ואבתינו and our fathers, H4428 מלכינו our kings, H8269 ושׂרינו and our princes, H5892 בערי in the cities H3063 יהודה of Judah, H2351 ובחצות and in the streets H3389 ירושׁלם of Jerusalem: H7646 ונשׂבע for had we plenty H3899 לחם of victuals, H1961 ונהיה and were H2896 טובים well, H7451 ורעה evil. H3808 לא no H7200 ראינו׃ and saw

  18 H4480 ומן   H227 אז   H2308 חדלנו we left off H6999 לקטר to burn incense H4446 למלכת to the queen H8064 השׁמים of heaven, H5258 והסך and to pour out H5262 לה נסכים drink offerings H2637 חסרנו unto her, we have wanted H3605 כל all H2719 ובחרב by the sword H7458 וברעב and by the famine. H8552 תמנו׃ and have been consumed
