Jeremiah 40:5 ועודנו yet לא Now while he was not ישׁוב gone back, ושׁבה Go back אל also to גדליה Gedaliah בן the son אחיקם of Ahikam בן the son שׁפן of Shaphan, אשׁר whom הפקיד hath made governor מלך the king בבל of Babylon בערי over the cities יהודה of Judah, ושׁב and dwell אתו with בתוך him among העם the people: או or אל wheresoever כל wheresoever הישׁר convenient בעיניך it seemeth ללכת go לך unto thee to go. ויתן gave לו רב So the captain טבחים of the guard ארחה him victuals ומשׂאת and a reward, וישׁלחהו׃ and let him go.
