Genesis 41:8-15 ויהי And it came to pass בבקר in the morning ותפעם was troubled; רוחו that his spirit וישׁלח and he sent ויקרא and called for את כל all חרטמי the magicians מצרים of Egypt, ואת כל and all חכמיה the wise men ויספר told פרעה thereof: and Pharaoh להם את חלמו them his dream; ואין but none פותר that could interpret אותם לפרעה׃ them unto Pharaoh.

8 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass H1242 בבקר in the morning H6470 ותפעם was troubled; H7307 רוחו that his spirit H7971 וישׁלח and he sent H7121 ויקרא and called for H853 את H3605 כל all H2748 חרטמי the magicians H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H853 ואת H3605 כל and all H2450 חכמיה the wise men H5608 ויספר told H6547 פרעה thereof: and Pharaoh H853 להם את H2472 חלמו them his dream; H369 ואין but none H6622 פותר that could interpret H853 אותם H6547 לפרעה׃ them unto Pharaoh.

9 H1696 וידבר Then spoke H8269 שׂר the chief H4945 המשׁקים butler H854 את H6547 פרעה unto Pharaoh, H559 לאמר saying, H853 את H2399 חטאי my faults H589 אני I H2142 מזכיר do remember H3117 היום׃ this day:

10 H6547 פרעה Pharaoh H7107 קצף was wroth H5921 על with H5650 עבדיו his servants, H5414 ויתן and put H853 אתי H4929 במשׁמר me in ward H1004 בית house, H8269 שׂר in the captain H2876 הטבחים of the guard's H853 אתי H853 ואת H8269 שׂר me and the chief H644 האפים׃ baker:

11 H2492 ונחלמה And we dreamed H2472 חלום a dream H3915 בלילה night, H259 אחד in one H589 אני I H1931 והוא and he; H376 אישׁ each man H6623 כפתרון according to the interpretation H2472 חלמו of his dream. H2492 חלמנו׃ we dreamed

12 H8033 ושׁם And there H854 אתנו with H5288 נער us a young man, H5680 עברי a Hebrew, H5650 עבד servant H8269 לשׂר to the captain H2876 הטבחים of the guard; H5608 ונספר and we told H6622 לו ויפתר him, and he interpreted H853 לנו את H2472 חלמתינו to us our dreams; H582 אישׁ H2472 כחלמו according to his dream H6622 פתר׃ he did interpret.

13 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass, H834 כאשׁר as H6622 פתר he interpreted H3651 לנו כן to us, so H1961 היה it was; H853 אתי H7725 השׁיב me he restored H5921 על unto H3653 כני mine office, H853 ואתו H8518 תלה׃ and him he hanged.

14 H7971 וישׁלח sent H6547 פרעה Then Pharaoh H7121 ויקרא and called H853 את H3130 יוסף Joseph, H7323 ויריצהו and they brought him hastily H4480 מן out of H953 הבור the dungeon: H1548 ויגלח and he shaved H2498 ויחלף and changed H8071 שׂמלתיו his raiment, H935 ויבא and came in H413 אל unto H6547 פרעה׃ Pharaoh.

15 H559 ויאמר said H6547 פרעה And Pharaoh H413 אל unto H3130 יוסף Joseph, H2472 חלום a dream, H2492 חלמתי I have dreamed H6622 ופתר that can interpret H369 אין and none H853 אתו H589 ואני it: and I H8085 שׁמעתי have heard H5921 עליך of H559 לאמר say H8085 תשׁמע thee, thou canst understand H2472 חלום a dream H6622 לפתר to interpret H853 אתו׃
