Genesis 3:6-12 ותרא saw האשׁה And when the woman כי that טוב good העץ the tree למאכל for food, וכי and that תאוה pleasant הוא it לעינים to the eyes, ונחמד to be desired העץ and a tree להשׂכיל to make wise, ותקח she took מפריו of the fruit ותאכל thereof, and did eat, ותתן and gave גם also לאישׁה עמה with ויאכל׃ her; and he did eat.

8 H8085 וישׁמעו And they heard H853 את H6963 קול the voice H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהים God H1980 מתהלך walking H1588 בגן in the garden H7307 לרוח in the cool H3117 היום of the day: H2244 ויתחבא hid themselves H120 האדם H802 ואשׁתו and his wife H6440 מפני from the presence H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהים God H8432 בתוך amongst H6086 עץ the trees H1588 הגן׃ of the garden.

9 H7121 ויקרא called H3068 יהוה And the LORD H430 אלהים God H413 אל unto H120 האדם H559 ויאמר and said H335 לו איכה׃ unto him, Where

10 H559 ויאמר And he said, H853 את H6963 קלך thy voice H8085 שׁמעתי I heard H1588 בגן in the garden, H3372 ואירא and I was afraid, H3588 כי because H5903 עירם naked; H595 אנכי I H2244 ואחבא׃ and I hid myself.

11 H559 ויאמר And he said, H4310 מי Who H5046 הגיד told H3588 לך כי thee that H5903 עירם naked? H859 אתה thou H4480 המן of H6086 העץ the tree, H834 אשׁר whereof H6680 צויתיך I commanded H1115 לבלתי thee that thou shouldest not H398 אכל Hast thou eaten H4480 ממנו whereof H398 אכלת׃ eat?

12 H559 ויאמר said, H120 האדם And the man H802 האשׁה The woman H834 אשׁר whom H5414 נתתה thou gavest H5978 עמדי H1931 הוא me, she H5414 נתנה gave H4480 לי מן me of H6086 העץ the tree, H398 ואכל׃ and I did eat.
