Genesis 37:2-11

  2 H428 אלה These H8435 תלדות the generations H3290 יעקב of Jacob. H3130 יוסף Joseph, H1121 בן old, H7651 שׁבע seventeen H6240 עשׂרה seventeen H8141 שׁנה years H1961 היה was H7462 רעה feeding H854 את with H251 אחיו his brethren; H6629 בצאן the flock H1931 והוא   H5288 נער and the lad H854 את with H1121 בני the sons H1090 בלהה of Bilhah, H854 ואת and with H1121 בני the sons H2153 זלפה of Zilpah, H802 נשׁי wives: H1 אביו his father's H935 ויבא brought H3130 יוסף and Joseph H853 את   H1681 דבתם report. H7451 רעה their evil H413 אל unto H1 אביהם׃ his father

  3 H3478 וישׂראל Now Israel H157 אהב loved H853 את   H3130 יוסף Joseph H3605 מכל more than all H1121 בניו his children, H3588 כי because H1121 בן the son H2208 זקנים of his old age: H1931 הוא he H6213 לו ועשׂה and he made H3801 לו כתנת him a coat H6446 פסים׃ of colors.

  4 H7200 ויראו saw H251 אחיו And when his brethren H3588 כי that H853 אתו   H157 אהב loved H1 אביהם their father H3605 מכל him more than all H251 אחיו his brethren, H8130 וישׂנאו they hated H853 אתו   H3808 ולא not H3201 יכלו him, and could H1696 דברו speak H7965 לשׁלם׃ peaceably

  5 H2492 ויחלם dreamed H3130 יוסף And Joseph H2472 חלום a dream, H5046 ויגד and he told H251 לאחיו his brethren: H3254 ויוספו the more. H5750 עוד him yet H8130 שׂנא and they hated H853 אתו׃  

  6 H559 ויאמר And he said H413 אליהם unto H8085 שׁמעו them, Hear, H4994 נא I pray you, H2492 החלום I have dreamed: H2088 הזה this H834 אשׁר which H2472 חלמתי׃ dream

  7 H2009 והנה For, behold, H587 אנחנו we H481 מאלמים binding H485 אלמים sheaves H8432 בתוך in H7704 השׂדה the field, H2009 והנה and, lo, H6965 קמה arose, H485 אלמתי my sheaf H1571 וגם and also H5324 נצבה stood upright; H2009 והנה and, behold, H5437 תסבינה stood round about, H485 אלמתיכם your sheaves H7812 ותשׁתחוין and made obeisance H485 לאלמתי׃ to my sheaf.

  8 H559 ויאמרו said H251 לו אחיו And his brethren H4427 המלך   H4427 תמלך   H5921 עלינו over H518 אם us? or H4910 משׁול shalt thou indeed have dominion H4910 תמשׁל shalt thou indeed have dominion H3254 בנו ויוספו the more H5750 עוד him yet H8130 שׂנא over us? And they hated H853 אתו   H5921 על for H2472 חלמתיו his dreams, H5921 ועל and for H1697 דבריו׃ his words.

  9 H2492 ויחלם And he dreamed H5750 עוד yet H2472 חלום dream, H312 אחר another H5608 ויספר and told H853 אתו   H251 לאחיו it his brethren, H559 ויאמר and said, H2009 הנה Behold, H2492 חלמתי I have dreamed H2472 חלום a dream H5750 עוד more; H2009 והנה and, behold, H8121 השׁמשׁ the sun H3394 והירח and the moon H259 ואחד and the eleven H6240 עשׂר and the eleven H3556 כוכבים stars H7812 משׁתחוים׃ made obeisance

  10 H5608 ויספר And he told H413 אל to H1 אביו his father, H413 ואל and to H251 אחיו his brethren: H1605 ויגער rebuked H1 בו אביו and his father H559 ויאמר him, and said H4100 לו מה unto him, What H2472 החלום dream H2088 הזה this H834 אשׁר that H2492 חלמת thou hast dreamed? H935 הבוא indeed come H935 נבוא indeed come H589 אני Shall I H517 ואמך and thy mother H251 ואחיך and thy brethren H7812 להשׁתחות to bow down ourselves H776 לך ארצה׃ to thee to the earth?

  11 H7065 ויקנאו envied H251 בו אחיו And his brethren H1 ואביו him; but his father H8104 שׁמר observed H853 את   H1697 הדבר׃ the saying.
