Genesis 21:23-31 ועתה Now השׁבעה therefore swear לי באלהים by God הנה unto me here אם תשׁקר that thou wilt not deal falsely לי ולניני with me, nor with my son, ולנכדי nor with my son's son: כחסד according to the kindness אשׁר that עשׂיתי I have done עמך unto תעשׂה thee, thou shalt do עמדי unto ועם me, and to הארץ the land אשׁר wherein גרתה׃ thou hast sojourned.

24 H559 ויאמר said, H85 אברהם And Abraham H595 אנכי I H7650 אשׁבע׃ will swear.

25 H3198 והוכח reproved H85 אברהם And Abraham H853 את H40 אבימלך Abimelech H5921 על because of H182 אדות because of H875 באר a well H4325 המים of water, H834 אשׁר which H1497 גזלו had violently taken away. H5650 עבדי servants H40 אבימלך׃ Abimelech's

26 H559 ויאמר said, H40 אבימלך And Abimelech H3808 לא not H3045 ידעתי I know H4310 מי who H6213 עשׂה hath done H853 את H1697 הדבר thing: H2088 הזה this H1571 וגם yet H859 אתה didst thou H3808 לא neither H5046 הגדת tell H1571 לי וגם H595 אנכי I H3808 לא me, neither H8085 שׁמעתי heard H1115 בלתי but H3117 היום׃ today.

27 H3947 ויקח took H85 אברהם And Abraham H6629 צאן sheep H1241 ובקר and oxen, H5414 ויתן and gave H40 לאבימלך them unto Abimelech; H3772 ויכרתו of them made H8147 שׁניהם and both H1285 ברית׃ a covenant.

28 H5324 ויצב set H85 אברהם And Abraham H853 את H7651 שׁבע seven H3535 כבשׂת ewe lambs H6629 הצאן of the flock H905 לבדהן׃ by themselves.

29 H559 ויאמר said H40 אבימלך And Abimelech H413 אל unto H85 אברהם Abraham, H4100 מה What H2007 הנה H7651 שׁבע seven H3535 כבשׂת ewe lambs H428 האלה these H834 אשׁר which H5324 הצבת thou hast set H905 לבדנה׃ by themselves?

30 H559 ויאמר And he said, H3588 כי For H853 את H7651 שׁבע seven H3535 כבשׂת ewe lambs H3947 תקח shalt thou take H3027 מידי of my hand, H5668 בעבור that H1961 תהיה they may be H5713 לי לעדה a witness H3588 כי unto me, that H2658 חפרתי I have digged H853 את H875 הבאר well. H2063 הזאת׃

31 H5921 על H3651 כן H7121 קרא he called H4725 למקום place H1931 ההוא that H884 באר שׁבע Beer-sheba; H3588 כי because H8033 שׁם there H7650 נשׁבעו they swore H8147 שׁניהם׃ both
